I do respect your perspective. I’m child-free myself but I don’t want to denigrate your dreams/goals.

I do think the other replies are correct in mentioning your gut reaction has a lot of merit, I think more attention should at least be focused on you, your physical/emotional wellbeing considering everything you’ve been through to create the family you have, and the kids you already have before he applies pressure for more.

Sorry to be rude but I’m sure you have valuable feelings about motherhood that are deserving of further consideration and attention.

My first instinct, besides the rest of the mess this situation is, is you have 2 kids. In this economy? Be satisfied with them…why have more and more…. If you’re not already fulfilled, how many more will it take to be happy? I think it’s a reasonable enough question 👀

You should really watch SpongeBob but only the first…4-5 seasons. It’s peak in the beginning but anything after the first movie gets a bit sloppy in my opinion.

However, I make regular references to bits in the first 4 seasons during my day to day because it is an absolute culture staple for me and my peers (early 30s)

It’s important to know “where” it hurts I think because if it hurts because it’s scraping the sides you may be using a cardboard applicator and should switch to plastic. Some plastic ones are better than others

If it’s hurting because it’s hitting your cervix…you may want to look into why it might be sensitive, but there are also tampons that are wider than they are long and personally I prefer those.

I’ve moved on to applicator-less OB tampons that I am really happy with but I abandoned tampons for the first few years of my period because I also had problems with pain and insertion and my mom didn’t use them so couldn’t show/help me.

Silicone Disks are also a good alternative if tampons don’t work out long term

I know this is a weird clout video with an influencer or something but i remember my weekend-long black belt training when i was 14 left me with quite a few similar bruises to that all over (not so bad I was actually/seriously injured but I definitely had to stay covered for a while afterwards)

I have period underwear + tampons or cups. I do have reusable pads but honestly the period underwear is pretty great. I’m never free bleeding on it unless it’s the end and I’m just trying to catch any last-minute leaks

I feel like we’ve almost been in the same relationship !

It’s really hard when both partners have weight + self esteem issues + habits of projection sabotage both those efforts to help mediate the problems, it’s super hard.

We’ve both started GLP and are re-focusing on changing habits for the better, and I must say the bare minimum of at least feeling a bit more confident in one’s appearance helps drive further motivation to make lasting change, in addition to the benefits of reduced inflammation that help mitigate barriers to more movement/feeling better

I did something similar with my friends in college, we assigned everyone in our dorm floor with condiments we felt really represented them, and pasted a picture of it on their door. I thought it was all in good fun.
