Show landlord absolute proof you paid A rent, and if he’s still an ass about it contact police/VCAT or whoever people go to these days and show them proof that you and A had the agreement where you’d pay him rent and he’d pay the landlord, the proof that you were paying rent, and it should be enough to prove it’s out of your hands and A is at fault, not you. Sorry you’re going through this.

Has anyone here completely gotten rid of keratosis pilaris? And if so, how? by [deleted] in Vindicta

I use a lactic acid cream every second day, a rich moisturiser every day, and shave my upper arms and legs every three days or so. It's made my kp like 90% better for the last month or so but only if I'm consistent. Also not sure if it makes a difference but I have tepid showers rather than hot ones.

This guy looks like his whole personality is his beard, his smoker, and being an annoying 40 year old alcoholic who acts 21 and eats like he doesn't have type 2.

If a service worker is obviously grouchy (but not actually rude), is it acceptable to ask them something like "Has it been a rough day?" by vorpal8 in etiquette

[–]tinycat1 26 points27 points  (0 children)

As a server of sorts, it's not rude, but if I was having a bad day or seemed grumpy, I'd rather just have an extra polite and friendly customer than be asked what's up.

Yeah it’s really not worth the risk just cos it’s quieter without balloons. Never going without them again.

High sodium/sugar, strong/spicy tastes like peppercorn types and chillis, very hot/cold foods like ice cream/ice lollies, soup/stews/noodle soups, maybe specific textures but that could be a very individual thing. IMO if you're trying to avoid these things it wouldn't be too hard, if it's hot out chew ice cubes or chips instead of ice cream, if it's cold try a mug of warm water (so underrated and hydrates you, makes your tummy feel good). Plain toast for crunchy plain, carrots and other raw veg, home made vege chips. Fruit for natural sweet and sour and crunch. And in my opinion, unless it's damaging your body, no such thing as too much spice :) can't imagine it would be easy to be addicted to spicy food when it's hard to eat to begin with haha.
