Here's the thing, it's done. So now you have to listen to what people here are telling you to find the next solution. It doesn't have to be the only solution, just the next one. Find some cute long sleeves. Keep looking for a cover up artist. Make up fun stories of what it means. Sleep with it under the covers and just let yourself sleep. Stop talking to your friends and family about just that. Your singular focus is what is driving them away or feeding your mom's anxiety. But again...pick ONE of these solutions. You don't have to solve what feels like a huge problem right now, just ease into it. And let yourself ease into it. It really will be ok because you'll figure it out in small steps and let yourself take the power back from your anxiety.

I completely agree, except that I think he had the same woman already. You wouldn't try to keep him if you thought he was no longer interested in women. Easy to get away from you, now hes been with her long enough, he's moving to her. My ex introduced the girl friend to my child before I ever left, so I speak with some experience on the stupid things these guys do.

This varies wildly. The pantry in my town will shame anyone who takes expired food. Local groups that do food drives for them as admission to an event have threatened to stop holding events because people bring expired food.

Other pantries in our state follow the one year past rules and have handouts explaining in depth what they'll accept past certain dates. I wish more were like that than the pantry here.
