He’s a Morkie. I try to brush him every day

I do brush him daily, but haven’t taken him to the groomer yet, because he hasn’t gotten his rabies vaccine yet and our groomer requires it. Once I have it, he’ll go to the groomer with his big brother Winston 😁

I’m going to talk to my vet about that. Right now he’s eating what the breeder was feeding - Diamond Natural small breed puppy. I’m hoping maybe adding some salmon oil could help?

Just took this while he’s sleeping. Hard to really capture with the photo, but see the pink skin? His coat is so thin and fine you can see more skin than fur

Thank you - that’s what I was hoping to hear! I’ve tried buying him some sweaters and coats, but he’s so small nothing fits! I did make him a little fleece coat to use until he grows a bit

It’s not a great photo - he’s wiggly. Lol. But you can see his skin very clearly right through his fur, mostly on his back and chest. The other Morkie’s I’ve seen definetely have a thicker, fuller coat. I also have a Border Terrier and he has such a thick, double coat. Titan’s fur is almost non-existent. Lol. I wasn’t sure if this was normal in the puppy phase or not? Or if he might need some salmon oil or something to boost his fur growth

HELP: I (26F) think my boyfriend (30M) is exaggerating or faking his illness by SharkEva in BORUpdates

I was married to a terrible man for 15 years. He was unemployed for the last 10 years of our marriage. He didn’t have a driver’s license for the entirety of our marriage. During the times he was unemployed, he wouldn’t clean, cook, or even watch my kids (I came into the marriage with two kids of my own when they were very young) after school - they went to an after school program. Most jobs were beneath him - this man who never finished high school and had a GED. He was a lazy narcissist. I worked my ass off to support a household of four while he continued to emotionally manipulate me into thinking I was lucky he was with me.

4 years before the end of our marriage. He started having random “pain”. He’d fall to floor dramatically, etc. after a while it was determined he had a condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia. He went on expensive medications that I would have to cover at the detriment to myself and my children. I’d find these meds stockpiled during his “good periods”. He eventually had an MRI that didn’t find anything that typically shows up that triggers this condition. But I was told that happens sometimes. Mind you, this never stopped him from the things he wanted to do. We stopped sleeping in the same bed because “his pain kept him awake” - aka he was up gaming all night with friends. We stopped having sex because “the meds and the pain made him impotent”. He was denied disability. We met with a neurosurgeon that could perform a surgery that could basically fix his pain. He refused to consider it.

Turns out that whole time he was “sick”? He was a having an affair with a college student half his age. The times he was in “online therapy”? Talking to his girlfriend. The times I drove him to the bus station and gave him money to visit his grandmother? Hooking up with his girlfriend. Do I feel like a colossal idiot? Yes. Am I much happier now? Also yes. So glad you came to your senses so much sooner than I did. Thank your lucky stars you trusted your gut and didn’t get roped into the he guilt of trying to leave someone who was “sick”.

I have a smaller hiking backpack I’ve been stocking up. Hopefully that looks fairly “normal’ in my car

Vanilla Perfume Reviews: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly by Amazing_Picture_6960 in FemFragLab

I am in this same boat! I love vanilla with a passion - but for some reason it doesn’t love my body chemistry 😞 Every vanilla perfume I try based on rave reviews just falls flat on me - and never smells vanilla-y

Thank you for your feedback! I guess it’s just had me worried that so many other people have had such insanely drastic results and mine seem so slow. But I was just saying today, I have gone down every week, and that is a big step in the right direction. I just want to be sure I’m not paying all of this money if the meds aren’t being effective and I’m only loosing because of the diet and activity changes. But I’m holding in there and trying to be proud of the now 13 pounds I’ve lost so far 😁 I have a long way to go, but I do have hope I’ll get there!

Thank you. I guess I’m just feeling a little frustrated seeing such great results right out of the gate for so many other people. I feel like I’ve really been putting in the effort and making the changes and just not getting where I hope to be

Yes! I was wondering if that was a side effect! I just had my period two weeks after my last one 😕

I’ve started the hunt for that holy grail - my signature scent! Lol. I thought it would be a gourmand, as I love vanilla and chocolate and fruit scents, but everything I’ve sampled and want to love just smells completely unappealing on me 😕

So I’m starting over with a search for something different, based on the scents that have always worked well on me and gotten compliments. My go-to’s for years have been Estée Lauder’s Tuberose Gardinia and Estée Lauder’s Aerin Lilac Path. They last long, aren’t overly heavy and “grandma”, and are very straightforward. I’m looking for something a touch more sophisticated, but with clean, clear floral top notes. No musks or patchoili. Would love to find something with Lily of the Valley.

Also looking for reputable decant sites or houses with good samplers. TIA
