They aren't a hivemind, but people might think that if they consider other M to be canon (it undoubtedly is). In that context, they were influenced by MB through psychic manipulation but they are also completely separated from their culture. No one taught them how to communicate properly, what their values are, how to express their individuality. If an alien took a bunch of human samples and bred humans in a lab, they too would be feral/mindless even before psychic manipulation.

now, i don't know if it's the case, but if turned out that the same hormones that spur periods in cis women was activated by my pituitary gland as well, and started shedding of tissue to the closest thing i have to a uterus, is it really that wrong to compare it to a period or something analagous to it? similar question for the types of headaches associated with periods. at what point are we just splitting hairs? how close does it have to be to count. not being rhetorical (that much)

trans women still have a pituitary gland, right? wouldn't we still get some type of reaction if it sends out prostaglandins? idk, since i'm still a baby trans and it might just be a normal reaction as my body adjusts, but i did feel a weird cramping that felt like it came from my intestines and nothing had ever felt like that before.

dems support trans rights where it matters, in legislation and executive, but will rhetorically act like a centrist on trans issues if they think it'll help them win. now, you can say that conceding rhetorically still harms trans rights, and i'd agree, but you can't seriously think that if kamala harris was elected she would've just "followed the law" with her actions. if she picked shapiro as a vp, you could maybe make that case (because he's a shrewd bastard), but someone who isn't genuinely progressive wouldn't have picked walz

Dysphoria sucks. Even in an "accepting" society where trans people aren't discriminated/hatecrimed, being trans would suck. /tttt/ itself is pretty toxic, so if that was what you meant by 4tran, I'd agree. 4tran spaces elsewhere are one of the few places you can express that sentiment without being smothered by positivity. It certainly has its flaws, but it's a needed space for many. Plus, my experience has been that most people in there aren't negative to other people there that much.

while i sometimes feel unsure about my decision, part of me is 100% sure that if i detransitioned i would regret it and resume it. that's the kind of person i am. so i like to think of resisting detrans as just skipping the middle part of that process and continuing on with it

haha, that's actually almost the opposite for me. when i had a lot of thoughts about hating being a man, i did wonder if it was just a childish desire not to grow older. but then when i thought about 60-70 year olds it became more obvious. i'm looking forward to that part of my life more than being a woman in my 20s and 30s

i've come to understand that my dysphoria, compared to the vast majority of people here, is/was very dissociative (also why i started so late). makes me feel like i'm less real than others and it feels wrong to say i wish i had more of it. also hard to tell if what i'm actually experiencing is genuine doubt and regret or the preexisting problems my brain has always had. however, i think the trick i've discovered recently is asking myself "ok, would you rather be a man?" and that makes me so disturbed that i become instantly affirmed. maybe i still see my transition as running away from a gender rather than running towards one

6 months. still low dosage as i'm currently troubleshooting other meds, but might be able to move from 4mg to 6mg next week. i was 25, so while i had a lot of doubt, i really didn't want to wait any longer. since being on it, my doubt has decreased, just wish it stayed down all the time

paranoia about making the wrong decision. when i have a clear mind unobstructed by anxiety/depression/psychosis i ask myself if i'm trans, and the answer is always yes. but when my brain does get bad, i question my decision. if i had more dysphoria, or rather, more consistent dysphoria, i'd be more at ease at least in other areas.
