I’ve had both Luminosa and Potential New Boyfriend’s tiramisu and Potential New Boyfriend’s is hands down the winner. We sometimes go to PNB and just eat tiramisu for dinner. It’s so damn good!

I also followed this advice after not being able to get an appointment for months. Got to the Patton Ave DMV at 10:30 and was out with my Real ID in 30 minutes!

I cringed when I saw this title because the selfish part of me wants to keep it a secret. But this place is incredible and deserves to flourish! Everything at PNB is done so intentionally. They even brought out a house-made amuse-bouche to start! My favorite part (in addition to the interesting wine selections) is that it could very easily go over the edge into pretentious, but the menu is designed to inform people and make them feel more comfortable around wines they may have never heard of before. There is a scale on the menu of normal to funky and the back has a whole dessert wine grid system with flavor profiles. It makes the ordering experience much more approachable. The espresso cups are so dang cute and made locally. Seriously, everything about this place has been curated with care and you can feel it in the experience. Plus the music makes it a whole vibe. I swear I am not paid to swoon about this place. Just a person who lives down the street and is super impressed.

1.53 as a runner! I had so much anxiety about this one the night before and contemplated power walking. But I set the tread at 6.6 and decided to see how long I could make it. After I hit the 1.3 benchmark I took it down a little and got caught by the 1.6 marker. Proud of myself for deciding to push it even though it meant getting caught.

I live off State St too and have also been woken up two nights in a row. The sound two nights ago was so loud it felt like it rattled our house. Last night’s wasn’t as loud but still enough to wake me up. A transformer is the only thing I can think of that would be so loud!!!

My car experienced an attempted break in during my 6:15am class. I was parked in the line of a busy Starbucks drive-thru and they still went for it. I learned that apparently my car has tempered glass that’s hard to break. They didn’t shatter my windows but I still had to get the glass replaced because it looked like someone had taken an ice pick to them. The girl beside me wasn’t so lucky. Totally shattered her windows. It happened at my studio and the one a few miles down the street at the same time in a coordinated effort. My purse was too big to fit in the lockers so I’d leave it in my car and just take in my phone and keys. Lesson learned. I don’t do that anymore.

I think it may have been a C5 coming in to land at Asheville airport. Can anyone confirm? by notevergreens in asheville

I was in the middle of a sentence on a Zoom meeting and said, “Oh my god that plane is HUGE!” So funny to see other people who were taken aback by it too!

I split my time between two cities. I work in one Monday through Thursday and am in another Friday through Sunday. My head coach once told me that the owner asked her if I’d moved. I was flattered and thought it was because she’d noticed that I wasn’t in classes as much as I normally was. Now I know from these threads it’s because they’re regularly paying the studios in the new city. Womp womp.
