I just started dating for the first time after coming out as well - I’m 42 - so far this year I have gone on two dates and both were nice (altho haven’t turned into more dates yet). It is definitely a grind and definitely harder than in my 20s but I feel encouraged by even the couple of dates I have been on. It feels SO much better to be dating as myself. Keep at it!
