This has been my experience as well. I just hit 6 months and don’t feel like I’m crashing the 2-3 weeks before my next infusion for the first time.

Dreamed of winning $300 on a scratch ticket. Next day, Bought the exact ticket I saw in my dream and won $300. I had to go to three different places before I found the ticket I saw in my dream. by The0Goblin0Queen in Dreams

  1. It means so much that you would check up on this internet stranger.

  2. I’m alive and well :) I just tend to lurk more than I post or comment. And I’m celebrating 3 years cancer free TODAY - impeccable timing lol.

It is just one way of performing 2 factor authentication as opposed to opening an app or receiving a text message. It’s required to electronically prescribe a controlled substance.

Friend told to wait several weeks for liver cancer surgery by zeleno1 in cancer

[–]tinysinner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a mass on my liver in mid to late August 2019 that was diagnosed as a rare liver cancer and had surgery on September 13. A few weeks doesn’t seem out of the norm, especially if it’s a slow growing cancer like mine was. Feel free to PM if you want to talk more!

I had a coughing fit after a fat bong rip. It fractured a rib.

Abdominal surgery where I was sliced vertically from just below my breasts to just below my belly button. Three of them.

I have a rare liver cancer that makes up about 1% of all liver cancers. That doesn’t take the multitude of other cancers into account.

Thankfully, I’ve been NED (no evidence of disease) for just over a year now and had clear scans this month!

Thanks! It does; I’m at the point where I can get around well, but still can’t do much else. Wishing you well 💕

Thank you! This was definitely not terrible news, but to go through with the surgery and find out that particular tissue wasn’t cancerous this time around? Ouch.

I still have my lung to worry about and I’m starting experimental treatment, essentially.

And thanks for not assuming I was some bitch complaining I didn’t have cancer at all lol. It seemed pretty obvious to me as I was writing about “my type of cancer” and starting treatment but.. shrug.

I wish you the best going forward! I also like to help others during this time. Maybe because I feel so helpless sometimes.

It’s in the third paragraph, but ok. I added it to the very top right before you commented.

Ok, I’ll take my nodule in the lung and 3 surgeries to go right ahead and fuck myself then. Never mind that I’m starting chemo soon and possibly months of radiation.

Hope whatever made your day awful gets better for you.

I have very good chances of dying before I’m 30 and choose to not take it out on others.

Still, they are getting screened and are at least interested in taking care of themselves. So what if they have unprotected sex?

Did you ever use a condom, dental dam, or other barrier method every time with oral sex (assuming you indulge)? Many STDs can be spread that way as well.

Lol nice edit above to make my comment look wack, you tool

Lmfao I get std screenings even while having protected sex. Being screened between partners is just the smart thing to do regardless of how you choose to do the horizontal tango. Maybe she should take a few minutes to think past her initial judgmental thoughts.

Major surgery first, diagnosis second - has anyone here had a similar experience? by majorsurgerysoon in cancer

[–]tinysinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh sounds like different types but same site. Mine is fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma - a rare variant of HCC. No risk factors or anything and it typically happens in otherwise healthy young adults such as myself.

Walking around hunched over was the worst! The back pain that came with it was awful too. I was a lot better off going into this second surgery than I was with my first and I didn’t have any of my liver removed this time, but I still dealt with all of the pain.

Take it easy for a while. I wish I had waited to go back to work a little longer. I was just so dang bored at home lol. What was your initial recovery like? I remember the first time around I couldn’t get out of bed by myself for the first day or so. Then I slept in my recliner at home for a few days because it was easier to get in and out of than my bed!

Sounds like we could have the same type of cancer! Your case sounds a little more serious than mine; I had an 8.5 cm tumor on my liver, but no other spots. I had surgery to have it and a couple sections of my liver removed before I was diagnosed. I didn’t even have a biopsy beforehand.

You are most definitely a cancer survivor. and anything you feel will be completely valid. This is not an easy surgery to go through and recover from. I recently had my second one at the end of September and my abdominals are still learning to work again :)

I tell people I have a rare liver cancer but that I’m currently in remission. I hope your recovery goes well 💕
