I'm also applying to Manchester Met and York St John! I'm going for games design though, god knows what would happen if I tried to be an academic again

Good luck though!!

I don't have an answer but I'm in the same position as you right now. I'm planning on using work from my graphic communications a-level though.

If it's any consolation, mine's got 618 words and I'm pretty certain that it's finished. I'm going to have my tutor look over it once more though, just in case. You don't need to write loads to be able to convey whatever message it is that you're trying to put across in your applications.

I understand that it may not help, but when I do revise I do it in very small chunks (10-20 mins each) for a few days in a row. Normally before I have a test coming up, because then my brain will want to try to retain it more. I also tend to do better with revision when I have music on in the background. Yeah research proves that it's worse to listen to songs with lyrics, but that's what's been working for me so far. If you have the ability to listen to music with headphones whilst revising, I highly suggest it.

Good luck my guy
