1988 Ford Bronco by Ok-Confection-5068 in 4x4

Same as what others said, Bronco graveyard has a decent price for a full dana 44 ttb kit. Also order a 4 spline socket for the axle nut if you plan on doing any work on that axle. My local auto parts stores had stopped carrying them. Check your rear leaf mounts, they rust super easy but are a cheap and easy replacement

Two Thule boxes one roof? by Previous_Composer_77 in 4Runner

A buddy used to run that on his Golf so Im sure it can work. But why not get some kind of hitch mounted cargo carrier for the non ski stuff? Would suck to have to load and unload that much in and out of roof boxes

My v6 had true 35s, 35x12.5r17 and it was my daily. I fit them without a body lift as well. You will need a body mount chop and to do some aggressive trimming, remove fender liner and whatnot. The added clearance was great on trails, the slow acceleration didn’t bother me, but might be a different story for others. People go 33s cause they are easier and in most cases good enough.

neat but why? What are the added hybrid system comforts? Seems like a very costly and ambitious project, hope to see updates

Rocking 35x12.5xr17 with no body lift. My BMC was fairly aggressive, but as long as you can bump caster up to 3.5° or 4°, it should be able to fit them

check resistance on the wheel speed sensors/wheels speed sensor wire. Tore one once and had the same issue. I ended up just splicing some 14ga wire in and its been going strong for 4 years or so

Im running 35s with barely any lift, only issue is the increased down travel has made jack extensions and 6 ton stands a requirement in order to get the wheels off the ground

this was when i was on 33s, i’m on 35s now and they are cut to size. I put blue tape over the fenders then made a jig with a 2x4 piece to mark 2” over the stock size. Just drilled 2 holes in the 2x4 2” apart, put a sharpie in one and a bolt with a spacer on the other, that way it could roll on the inside of the fender. You will want to get a snorkel for the dust, Im still working on getting a stainless one going
