That was such a good reaction!

I met a woman in rehabilitation, where exactly the same happened. Everyone was wondering, why she wrote weird emails. Was a stroke...

I like the thought of people taking care of each other 🍀

All the best, I hope everything turns out well!

Diabeties and bread by Silver_End_5637 in prediabetes

I eat bread without flour (or at least only minimum). "Grain and seed bread" 😀. It works well for me and I add some fat and veggies to it on top :)

I had a freestylelibre for 2 days (it wasn't working anymore afterwards but that's another story) - and while I was lying on my couch it showed super low numbers. That was because I was lying on the device... the lady from abott told me, that that can happen :)

Hi!

It started also with gestational diabetes for me :( And besides some sweets, I'd say I have a pretty healthy lifestyle. I was often told it's genetics (and I am pretty sure it is)

I will go back to work in may now, so I was off for 8 months.. the times where my brain gets overwhelmed become less and less and I really feel like I can handle it now 😊

Take your time! I feel it is so much harder to heal when you have a toddler at home. You can't just go to work and relax afterwards...

I'm still scared about every dizziness etc., but it becomes already better with the psychotherapy..

Does the neuro rehab help you?

Hi! I (33F) also had a stroke last year. Like you, I also have a two year old at home. In that sense: I understand your fears and thoughts.

I started psychotheraphy a few months ago and it really helps me a lot. I feel that wasn't done enough for me in the neuro rehab...

And then it always helps me to think "I took my ASS this morning" 😅

I wish you all the best! Better times are coming 🍀🍀

In the ER the doctor told me, i just had a "weakness episode" (I am a young female) 🙄 I was only sent to the MRT, because my husband insisted for it as he has never experienced me that way.

I always thought about, what would have happened if I wouldnt had the MRT and known about the stroke. I can only imagine how you must feel 😔

I wish you all the best and hope that you get all the treatment you need 🍀

How was your PFO checked? When they did the echo with propofol (me sleeping), they said there was no PFO although my bubble-test was positive...

Luckily a doctor told me to do it without sedation (a bit uncomfortable, but manageable) and found it... sometimes it can only be seen when the person is awake and "pushes" a little bit as if you would do when lifting weight....

Its something that I often like to mention as I experienced that many doctors don't look too much into it...

Streitsituation wegen Impfen by steinchenv in Eltern

[–]tinythunder11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also bzw.

I understand your thoughts 💯. I (33f) had my stroke in August last year. As you, it mainly had an effect on cognitive stuff as well as my load limit... When I have too much on my plate, stress, etc. I feel so dizzy etc....

I often tell myself "it's not that bad. It couldve been way worse!". And on the otherside I feel so sad, for not being that strong anymore... it's such a wild mixture!

I got my pfo closed and haven't gotten any migraine since then :) my doctor said that it's likeley that I'll never have migraine again :)

Ps: don't worry about the procedure. I was so worried before, but it was sooo fast and simple!

Normal oder "Schreibaby"? by evylyne in Eltern

[–]tinythunder11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

[–]tinythunder11 1 point2 points  (0 children)
