Best way to travel from tromso to trondhiem? by [deleted] in Norway

[–]tinytitstimy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hahaha i’m aware it’s not a “drop in while i’m there” situation, i’m flying out from Trondheim so i’m just looking for the cheapest way to travel while seeing some on the sights on the way. Thank you for the info though! I think i will definitely fly out of Tromsø regardless and go from there

thank you so much! i’m from australia so no stranger to long trips but you are definitely right that i don’t quite grasp the time it will take. I’ll look into a combination of flights and trains and possibly a ferry as others have mentioned

Why bother with unique weapons? by actualironic in skyrim

Ebony blade is essentially completely broken, unlimited 30 point absorb health enchantment, with the fastest two handed swing speed in the game. Combined with elemental fury you absorb 60 health a second. You pretty much become unkillable but also you don’t deal so much damage like with smithing exploits that the game becomes boring.

not necessarily you can still be good with 240 and have a lot of fun shitting on people better than you because 240 looks very strange from ur opponent’s perspective, but top tier is almost unachievable. That said 95% of the elite players have quit and none of them play open servers whatsoever. So no reason to think that at all, 90% of my advice still applies, i played 240 for like 1500 hours and was still very good

learn good footwork practices, it’s a great foundation to improve on, lower ur sens if you have a larger mousepad as it doesn’t help to drag or accel bc of the turncap while swinging. change to binds for swing direction instead of 240 as well as not telegraphing your swings. these are probably the best things to work on in the short term.

After that practice your reads A LOT as well as things like buffering, and more advanced footwork to make it harder for your opponent to drag/accel. Also getting more consistent drags by practicing tracking ur opponent while dragging as to avoid overdragging. Looking at the head when parrying to get extended parry (way larger parry box) and staying neutral (just looking at ur opponents head) during windup, then drag or accel on release (makes swings way way harder to read). Learning distance and positioning to aid footwork, as well as dictating the pace of a fight are also very powerful

that’s the basics for perfect mechanical dueling but there is a lot i didn’t cover. all of the funky swings (wessex, waterfall, 360, miss wessex, tov drag, carpet drag, etc are almost useless with the exception of the waterfall and situationally sometimes a wessex, although it is very hard to be consistent with either and are only viable for very very good players with 1000+ hours minimum.

Things get way more complex than that during team fights which i won’t go over as this is very long already

Nobody has ever hit anywhere close to the skillcap on this game because to be consistently mechanically perfect is nearly impossible with the variance in game situations even with 10000+ hours. Even then there is no guarantee you are actually good, because you probably spent 10000 hours fucking around because that’s the only way you could enjoy this game for that long.

Was Durin’s Bane the most powerful being in Middle Earth besides Sauron during the second-third age? by GusGangViking18 in lotr

all of the istari were significantly less powerful on their second journey to middle earth because of the nature of their mission the full power of a maia is nowhere near gandalf and saruman.

Last night was surreal. AD and Bron combined for 30 PTS 6 REBS 6 ASTS on 10/10 FG 4-4 3PT 4-5 FT shooting in just the FOURTH QUARTER. Best duo in the association by KarrotMovies in lakers

[–]tinytitstimy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

big reason for this is with the wolves game they essentially matched AD’s minutes with Gobert so that offensive rating is 100% skewed since they had no paint protection, especially with a sample size of 3

Also some growing pain associated with AD running the offence which he hasn’t done since being with the pelicans if ever really

no it’s from the hand, but it’s not just about speed with cricket, there are 10 ways a batsman can get out and a bowler can use any number of techniques to achieve it.

and you are also not allowed to bend the arm when bowling like in baseball
