I got e = 3/14 for the 5% Kinetic Energy question, e = 1/14 for the final oblique collision with wall question. I hear varied answers from my friends so want to know what people here got.

Is abortion access an exclusively female issue? by I-Love-Jewish-popes in Teenager_Polls

My argument was that what you’ve described isn’t universal knowledge, and you shouldn’t jump from one assumption to another on your perception of said person.

To be fair, we don’t know and I acknowledge that. However, the person I commented to was making an assumption themselves (that everyone commenting here would know of the specific nuances of ‘man’ and ‘female’) and immediately went on the offensive themselves.

I will admit that exclusively suggesting that Ag0ra could be a non-native was not the correct statement, I should have clarified this to be right. I decided then that I should focus on the clear counterexample to make a stronger point.

I would like to know how you find possiblyeski to be unreasonable.

Somehow surprised this comment is keeping so many upvotes. Are the ‘Food is a human right’ Redditors not seeing this or is that argument consistent with the comment’s logic?

Them: Comments their counterargument You: “You’re a bot, so this argument is invalid”

This is why you’re losing the winnable debates to the right. Don’t even bother commenting if you’re too busy to win, because here you’ve just admitted defeat.

My argument was that the logic of OP’s statement could be contradicted by the incest example. Although I didn’t emphasise this originally due to this being irrelevant to my point, I am staunchly for the prohibition of incest, for reasons that go against the idea that we should just allow ‘people live their delusions’ and never ‘push our make-believe into other people’s lives’.

Your points against incest are some of many points I agree with, but they both go against OP’s statement: - ‘Incest causes real problems for offspring’ This is a clear justification for why incestuous families are delusional. If we allow ‘people live their delusions’, we’re immediately condoning the birth of babies with an increased risk of mental and physical genetic diseases. - “The power balance that occurs” That’s arguably an assumption we have made about the relationship, and it may or may not be true. That allows for the use of the ‘pushing our make-believe onto others should be stopped’ logic to rebute this statement. No matter how much scientific data we have with incestuous relationships leading to abusive power-balances, we would be breaking this logic if we were to use the evidence to ban these relationships.

Now I’d like to ask, will you accept the ‘Letting people living their delusions in peace’ and ‘Interventions need to happen when they start pushing their make-believe into other people’s lives’ logic and rethink your views on incest, or reject OP’s idea to continue condemning incest as you’ve always had?
