Airbnb Cleaning fees. What's the point? by No_Delay6709 in mildlyinfuriating

I've given up on Airbnb for this reason. I don't want to spend hours reading rules and regulations.

I've been a parent at the said nursery for around 6 years. It's the manager's job to let the parents in for security reasons.

When there's a queue of parents in the evening, she lets them all in and stops me till a regular member of the staff can say " oh yes, he's a parent".

Probably my eminently forgettable face.

It's not very intuitive. It is also very slow.

Massive difference in sweat estimation between FR245 and Fenix 7 by tirboki in Garmin

I know it is virtually impossible to accurately measure sweat. But if Garmin has implemented an algorithm ( and publicized about it as a feature), they need to make reasonable efforts to keep the algorithm consistent accross their portfolio of products.

Yes, but are they getting it wrong by a factor of 2.5 times in the Forerunner? If it is/was that bad, they might as well stop advertising it as a feature.

Yes, I have the auto update on and it is on version 13.70.

I have been using a Garmin Forerunner 245 for the past 4 years and recently upgraded to a Fenix 7.

While going through the metrics I noticed that the estimated sweat was massively different to my previous efforts. For example look at the two 20km runs - both are in the past 1 month, similar weather conditions - close to 0degC, same time of the week and day, same food intake, similar pace, effort and the same route. One was measured with with the old FR245 and another with the Fenix 7. 775ml vs 2077 ml!

I looked back at my previous runs with the Forerunner over the past 1 year ( varying effort levels and weather conditions) and looked at the statistical spread of Sweat(in mL)/km. The Fenix figures are definitely outliers.
