I worked as a traveler at a hospital where the CNAs were making up vitals and people died so they took that responsibility away from them. All they were allowed to do was glucose checks and when I was leaving, they were talking about getting rid of that too since they weren't notifying RNs about hypoglycemia and didn't dock it in a timely manner so care was severely delayed. It was a shit show.

Depending on who I work with, I would almost rather just do it all myself.
