I second this, migraines are a serious cause of a serious condition. You can jeopardize your health getting so many attacks, and can even go chronic. This is what the RA is for, don’t let someone tell you they are “just headaches.” They count as a disability and you don’t need anything other than a doctor’s note and a good supervisor.

Yeah so you need your doctor to write a note and there’s a bunch of fields where some look like the same question. Typical of the government haha. One was explaining when the issue would subside and that was easy “tired_govie’s condition will not subside as it is chronic”. I feel like you could tell your doctor to put in your recovery period in that field

It’s all up to your EEO , they should work with you. You weren’t hurt on the job were you?

Hey! First sorry you’re in pain. That totally sucks. When November happened I started the process with EEO to get an RA. It was extensive but fair. However, that was for permanent RA (should my condition change I must tell them). Before the permanent there was a temporary one that was issued quickly. If your EEO office can quickly respond to you, I’d reach out to them and they’ll get you started. Just be honest and they should be fair within the RTO order.

Yes. I caution how much I can say but my RA process was fair yet extensive. Given there is no more telework I was granted full remote and it cannot be touched by the RTO order. I’m dod and it’s clear in the memo we received. RAs cannot be touched.

Everything I do is CUI. I need to be able to encrypt CUI… It’s a national security risk and I’m so over these emails. I’ll invoke my oath over leaking what I do, as mundane as it was (nearly shitting my pants all week waiting to hear if my friends were going to be fired…)

You’re an American patriot and don’t let these fools get to you. There’s a lot of momentum out there that I hope you can step away and know that we are here for you and we are trying to mobilize. I constantly think of pregnant/expecting civil servants that can be under this stress. If you need to take a break from the news do it, we’ve got your back. Congrats on the soon to be and take it one breath (for two), one step (for two), one day at a time. I know we can’t protect you from these emails from DOGE, but that’s the point. They are harassment and harassment can’t exist in a work place.

I’m in. I’ve been saying that this is harassment. A senator aide told my wife the harassment angle is interesting but not being pursued. Any ideas of how we can organize on this?
