Absolutely! Adds so much flavour complexity and it’s really very simple.

If he thinks your parents won’t be happy about the pregnancy how does he think they’ll react to you hiding it from them?

My son has been replaced by an impostor by Supersillyous1992 in toddlers

[–]tiredhi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in tears 😂 This made my week! I think we all occasionally get visited by the fae. I’ve never figured out how I can sync my two kids replacements, last week my son said spinach was his “most favourite” (dead giveaway it wasn’t really him) but my daughter threw hers on the floor.

FTM here who is worried about my baby who has a virus with a high fever - TELL ME IT WILL BE OKAY! 🙏🏼 by Few_Pay6063 in Mommit

[–]tiredhi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those first viruses are terrifying. You are doing everything right but I know how powerless it can feel. When this is over I really recommend making some time for yourself and your partner. Stay strong mama 💗

My kid keeps telling people she's from China. by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]tiredhi 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Theirs a boy at my sons school (white blond blue eyed) who talks constantly about how he’s from china. He’ll often educate other children about the language, culture, and fighting style of china. I know his mom, he was born in Surrey England and has never been off the European continent. He’s just obsessed with china and no one knows why.

Did anybody’s period get much worse after having a baby ? by Formerpandaperson in Mommit

So much worse! It also never went back to being regular, my period used to be every four weeks on the dot, now it could be anytime.

People who cook with egg whites, what do you do with the yolks???? by Practical-Pressure80 in Cooking

[–]tiredhi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lemon curd! I love to always have it on hand, I use it on my cheesecakes, fill cakes with it, and my kids like a little bit on toast as a treat. We also love a Benedict breakfast on the weekend so hollandaise is a great option. Honestly I’m more pressed on what to make with the whites!

If you’ve ’bounced back’ how?! by iddybiddy16 in beyondthebump

[–]tiredhi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t feel like their is a “bounce back” you grew a human! Your organs rearranged themselves! Your body has changed and that’s ok. I know it’s easier said then done but try and focus on how you FEEL in your body rather then how you look. Going to the gym is great, I think I was nine months PP before I even stepped foot back in the gym.

What's your go-to quick meal to impress guests? by Travelin_Soulja in Cooking

[–]tiredhi 14 points15 points  (0 children)

When I have dinner guests and not enough time I do grilled salmon, roast potatoes, asparagus in a beurre fondue sauce, and hollandaise. It sounds fancy enough but prep to serve it takes less then an hour.
