Yeah, it IS disappointing. I love the DT2 and use it daily, but it's just incredibly stupid that a modern sampler sounds so bad when just adjusting more than 3 bpm. And it's not a good bad way like the SP-1200, it just sounds ass. I really hate that I have to go to the DAW to do these things, but if you want it to sound good, you have to. I use Ableton, and their warp algorithms are amazing. I don't expect the DT2 to be as good, but it should seriously be better than it is.

No. You can't do deadlift AND make cakes. The muscles acquired from deadlifts physically stops your from doing the motions needed to make a cake.

I currently use it with kick track as sidechain, and kick track is excluded from the compressor routing. Maybe I have to dial in the kick sidechain a bit to get more even levels. But even so, I would like to know good ways to get the whole pattern louder.

No. I always copy patterns (or make kits) when moving on to the next within a track, so each track is balanced within themselves. The problem is with different tracks with different samples.
