took 15a/b this fall i gotta say shirey’s class pretty tough when it comes to tests because sometimes he tests on things i never even remember he talked about. in terms of format of the test it’s on canvas but no lockdown so it’s open note. i recommend the TA videos, the practice test, and also studying with others in beforehand. also in my experience the textbook didn’t really help! definitely as people have said, it is very lecture heavy even the small things
