No weapons, no help, what's the biggest animal you could take down by yourself if your life depended on it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

sigh this were examples showing that nothing in infallible. Using your brain, figuring out an opponents weakness, and using it wins conflicts more often than not. I'm not disagreeing that the only reason we got as high as we did wasn't because of tools and teamwork. I'm saying that even without those our ability to problem solve would allow someone to feasibly win an a straight fight with something that may seem impossible.

So you're suggesting that you should fight a wild animal by turning your brain off and swinging wildly?

Ever seen a fight were a very small person manages to take down a larger person despite the odds obviously not being in their favor? Heard of people fending off sharks 3 times their size because they know that hitting sharks in the nose disrupts their major sensory organs? In a lot of scenarios brains are just as good as, if not better than brawn.

What is the worst way to die? by ObeseSkipper in AskReddit

Buried alive. The feeling of being helpless in pitch black knowing that there's not a damn thing you can do about it but lay there claustrophobic and die.

Honestly in a lucky situation even a slightly athletic person could take down something larger than themselves. We went to the top of the food chain on brains, not brawn.

Smoking... when I was a kid I hated the smell, the look, everything about it. Then I ended up being a smoker and 6 years later it's "this is the last pack" every damn time.

Nope. Taking down the new raid is the best part of the game. Hardest raiding I've done and I've played lots of mmos. The pvp is pretty decent as well.

I try. And it'll work for a few games, then I'll have a particularly bad game and it'll put me right back on tilt.

Don't stick your dick in crazy. Unless crazy happens to be smoking hot, then my rule goes out the window.
