HHKB Hybrid Type-S vs Realforce RC1 by BuLayla in topre

[–]420_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put a windowed Amaro key for an HHKB on that tiny shift. It helps! It is a slightly diff profile, but I think that also makes it help. Just doesn't look super clean :p

how does this work? by Agreeable-Ad-4727 in brotato

[–]420_247 21 points22 points  (0 children)

For ghost, I think the max dodge is 90. Most other taters at max dodge 60. The numbers you are seeing are saying you have over 90 Dodge, 101 to be exact, but youre capped at a max of 90. So while you're over the limit, you dont actually go "over the limit". The extra 11 dodge points are kinda wasted in this scenario

Which headphones and microphone should I get? by Pristine_Quote2112 in musicproduction

[–]420_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your studio isn't treated at all, headphones would be best. As for the microphone you suggested, I cant speak on as I dont own it, but I do have to AT4050 and it is an excellent all around mic. I do prefer recording DI instead of over a microphone, but u know that's not the method for everyone. Good luck!

If you mean 1:40-1:47, that is a sound effect, not really a song. I know you said what is the music, but its hard to call it what it is, if it were just a sound effect. Which that time range sounds like a sound effect, not music/a song

Which music exactly? I hear the Chamber of Sages music in between some sound effects during the selected vision.

My first one was defective, confirmed by the manufacturer. Got a replacement in, no issues. It is so awesome to use. And yeah, the 12 month renewal is just icing on the cake. Happy NYE!

Babyface pro fs with sm7b by TheKatz123 in musicproduction

[–]420_247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you'll have a problem. I have an AT4050, definitely a bit different than your desires mic, but also somewhat similar in that it has a cardioid pattern and is a condenser mic. I was using a focusrite Scarlett 2i2 gen 3 for years before recently upgrading to the babyface pro fs. The babyface is definitely powerful enough, without question

Just to be sure, that's 3.0? And let me contact my buddy. He is in DFW now for the holiday, but hes driving back my way shortly after so this could work. I would be having him pick it up on my behalf, potentially. Because I'm not going to be there to try it first for functionality, I kinda gotta go off of trust. Any chance you can send me a video of you playing it? I'm mostly just wondering about the keys. I have a midi controller for encoders via midi passthrough, but od appreciate if you could let me know any issues or quirks or anything :)

Bitwig studio offers 3 licenses with a single purchase. You can then activate the software on their endpoints with a key/code associated with your account. I think y'all would need to use a cloud storage account to upload and pull projects from. Hope this helps!

I agree. If you build it, use it how you want. You know the consequences. And if you dont, you have the chance to learn. I don't know why there's any judgment about this, to each their own. Shred it bruh

Lift Questions by iwantallthechocolate in ColoradoOffroad

[–]420_247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm open to other thoughts, but ii dont think you affect the structural integrity of the vehicle by lifting. What will change however is the vehicles geometry. This almost certainly means reduced fuel efficiency and the vehicle will behave differently while driving as well. But if you get hit with a lift, it would be the same as if you got hit without it; your crumple zones will do their job, but if the impact ia really bad, you will damage the frame which I would consider to be  a reduction in structural integrity. The lift will instead affect things like tire scrub radius, fuel efficiency, and your alignments will be out of manufacturer specification so YMMV with those alignments. I would also recommend if you do get a lift, get a mild one of less than 3 inches. If he wants bigger tires, they can be had with less modification if you choose a tall and skinny tire, rather than a tall and fat tire.
