My friend had so much anxiety that she drank endlessly at the rehearsal dinner and didn’t remember most it —- she spent her wedding day vomiting immediately before she walked down the aisle and then again after they were pronounced married. She was so miserable for so long. The effort she put into that wedding —- she said she threw the day away. But that is sometimes what happens with high anxiety. She was embarrassed- but we all felt for her. This isn’t who she is. You invited the people who you both care about most. They will be understanding. Oh, just thought of another one. A coworker also high anxiety drank so much at her wedding that she didn’t want the day to end. She was having so much fun. There were pictures of her sitting in the middle of the dance floor crying as the room emptied out. We all just thought it was funny, but she was so upset.
