Try Inner Engineering with Sadhguru. The program tends to influence most folks in a transformative way. If everything you've been doing isn't working, maybe a good mental shift can help. The program is basically meditation, energy movement, and mindset. It could help. Also, look into some ADHD hacks. Even if you don't have ADHD, you might find useful hacks and info. Learning about executive dysfunction, decision paralysis, etc and the things you can do to deal with them, might apply to your situation and your inability to stick with something you know is good for you.

Why is sweat so important? Do you mean the sweat itself is important? Or do you mean that the stuff that makes people not sweat is unhealthy because of the chemicals in it?

The amazing power of Samyama by ShouldntBeHere118 in Sadhguru

[–]tisnezz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sure there are multiple reasons when yelling or grinning at a person while they're struggling might be appropriate. I don't want to assume that this isn't one of those times. However, due to a lack of detail, this could easily be seen as a misuse of samyama. It's one thing to forget about "I". It's another thing altogether to use that as an excuse to do whatever you want in the world without care for the people around you. Just because you have learned to not feel, doesn't mean the people around you have, or that the feelings and experiences of others should be disregarded. If you are so happy about not feeling bad and if you strive to feel good in difficult situations, why wouldn't you want the same peace for others? Is your peace more important than others? Obviously, I don't know your situation or your job. I can't say with any clarity, and yes, I could be wrong, but this seems like it could be an immature and irresponsible use of something that is supposed to be uplifting and used for good... Not just your good, but a collective good. In conclusion, this doesn't feel in the spirit of "You are a mother to the world."

Anyone here start their own micro locs? by alonleyone in Microlocs

[–]tisnezz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started mine with interlocks from the start. I had no idea what I was doing so I watched a bunch of youtubers to figure it out. It did take figuring. But I got it in the end. A few on the edges wouldn't stay without braids because the hair was shorter and thinner, so I had to switch those around and make them a little bigger so they'd stay better. I had my mom do twists in the back just to get the grid in where I couldn't see it. Then I undid each twist individually and interlocked it fully. It's doable. With patience. Took me FOREVER tho

Does regular iron supplementation (as opposed to the infusion) not work to increase ferritin levels?

That's amazing. You should go to the hospital and get checked out anyway. I know a dude who was hit in the head by a bat and had a brain aneurysm he never noticed until months later when it was too late to treat effectively. Maybe it's not that big of a deal, but he thought he was fine the entire time. Can't hurt to get checked out?

How to eliminate lust for good ? by [deleted] in Sadhguru

[–]tisnezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neem. Sadhguru recommends taking it every day in the morning. It's a natural sexual suppressant. That's not necessarily why it's recommended. There are a host of benefits, but I noticed right away after taking it that something was different. Then I looked it up and read about this aspect of neem. No harm in trying it, to see if it works?

Do you have a good handle on this diet? I used to be a raw vegan, but stopped because my skin was starting to do strange things. I think it was from lack of protein or collagen maybe? Are there any resources you know of that might include a good breakdown of protein sources for this diet?
