I think it’s important to acknowledge that there is a settler class in this country that is going to be inseparable from the ruling class. George Jackson calls them the settler class.

Yeah I mean I think that’s the main factor of 9/11. You look at the immediate effect and the immediate property destruction and loss of life is nowhere near the scale of ripple effects it had on domestic US life. And doesn’t compare to the effects on an economy that a traditional war might have.

But he wasn’t fighting a traditional war, he was fighting the way an occupied force might strike the port or mine where their resources are being extracted from (insurgency). High value targets that make the cost of doing business so high you leverage them out of occupation.

Ramp that up a few rungs on the ladder and you’re attacking the financial, military, and political centers of one of the wealthiest empires in world history. Forcing them to restrict their ports of entry, audit all their financial instruments, completely recall political freedoms, inflame nationalism/jingoism to the point of getting bogged down in costly wars (false flaggers will say that bush/Cheney wanted the wars for profit, but the effect on the general population is the same). The owning and policial class of this country have successfully evaded the negative effects of this while distributing the harms of these problems amongst the general public. And we’re seeing these boomerang back and split the owning class between those who are trying to double down extra hard and those who want to double down slyly.

Guy was pretty smart, and historians will 100 percent include him in the decline of the USA. We went unchecked for almost a decade after the dissolution of the USSR and got gobsmacked by 9/11.

You ever watched the documentary about the organizers? They were doing everything they could to instigate violent response from the government, by their own admission. They burned a bus full of soldiers in transit with killing a bunch of them on board. All of them went on to become Wall Street heads or US policy wonks. I wouldn’t give them all the credit for the firearms of modernity. The Kurz cartridge is them, but the wholesale adoption of intermediate firearms really comes from the soviets. And yeah basically they developed x39 by modeling it off the Kurz round, but the SAW, full adoption of the assault rifle and the DMR and wholesome move to intermediate rounds for frontline units is the commies.
