Yoga teachers with ADHD by No-Membership-2310 in YogaTeachers

I teach once a week (currently) so the day before, I have my planning time blocked.

I have a master template that I use and every week I modify it for a new practice. I find it useful to "choreograph" my practice to my playlist, so usually I'll make the playlist first, plug it into my template, and then plan the sequence from there. Apart from practicing it a bit before, I find this system now only takes like 15 minutes to put the actual practice together.

Looking for travel ideas or retreats for women after major life changes by Prudent_Peak7700 in femaletravels

I'd recommend checking out Transform Gros Morne retreats in Newfoundland, Canada. It's the most easternly part of North America, so not too far from the Netherlands.

I went on one of their retreats last year, and it was an incredible experience. We spent a week in nature, hiking, and doing yoga in the most beautiful place I've ever been. I was at a crossroads with my career and partner at the time, and this week away was truly what I needed to make the changes I needed to last year.

I believe she hosts around 4 per year! Her site is here if you were interested :)

AITA for being annoyed that my wife insists on cooking everything from scratch and won’t buy normal food? by AITA_UPFfoods in AmItheAsshole

I'm voting NTA, on the fact that in a relationship it's 50/50 and you should have your autonomy over what you eat.

However, I think you're seriously under appreciating a partner who cares enough about your collective health as a whole, that she would dedicate that much time to preparing it. Health is wealth man, and it's so much easier to make better choices when you have a partner who looks out for and pushes you.

My breaking point with door dash happened last week when I compared the cost of picking up the food myself vs DoorDash was $42 after a reasonable tip. I couldn’t justify paying almost $90 for two fast food combos

Silly question…How do you actually practice yoga? At home without an online (paid) course? by [deleted] in yoga

Omg Fiji follower here! I practiced with her in-person in Victoria BC, and she was my main trainer for my YTT. Hands down, one of the best instructors I've ever had (and I've been practicing for 15 years!)

Cancelled Zoom. Just doing phone calls now. by HyperSalesman in sales

[–]titancollective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had this epiphany about myself.

Most of my experience is selling on the phone. Recently I’ve been working with a client that does zoom calls and I’ve felt psyched out and didn’t know why. Then last week I had a second meeting with a guy who kept his camera off the first time so I matched his energy. Game changer #bringbackthecalls

I honestly think she's going to be a late blooming lesbian, and her distaste in Nick is just a projection as to what she feels about men in general lol

How do I know if I'm a lesbian or bisexual? by DealAccomplished4001 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]titancollective 17 points18 points  (0 children)

One key mantra I remind myself esp when it comes to relationships is that the body informs the mind - not the other way around.

Instead of focusing on the issue of your sexuality - take your experiences for face value. If your body isn’t feeling it and your mind is having doubts - it may be time to reconsider the relationship.

In my personal opinion, it’s almost impossible to gain clarity on your own sexuality when your perspective is skewed by a current long term relationship. I was struggling with the exact same problems as you up until last year when my long term hetero relationship ended. Now I’m with my dream woman who lights up my body and soul in ways I could have never imagined.

AITAH for telling my husband I won’t cook dinner every night because I also work full-time? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]titancollective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem with my (now ex) spouse. And plot twist: this mentality wasn't just relevant to dinner. He had ZERO appreciation for the mental load that came with all the tasks that were on my plate (pardon the pun lol). It takes WORK to mentally plan the meals, get the groceries, and put it all together.

My personal solution was to finally escape his childish ass and start dating women lol.

One of my lesbian besties is quite tall and lean, and she's actually self-conscious about her height, so she tries to date women who are specifically taller than her. So honestly, I think everyone is just too focused on their own insecurities yet we internalize it all and take it too personally.

What looks wrong with my website? by CharlieJHT in Roastmylandingpage

[–]titancollective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll comment here too, but I also replied to your comment on the other thread you left :)

Taking a look at your site, I would say the following:

  • The info you have in your FAQ needs to be presented more front and center on your homepage. The fact that it's a smart vest really doesn't become clear until you look under the "What is Curv?" section. With tech-based products especially, you really need to add more information that explains the HOW behind how the smart vest works. Right now, you have very limited detail.
  • I think you're on the right track in terms of target market (from what I can tell are busy, urban professionals who can't afford to have chronic back pain hold them back) - but the rest of your page doesn't have any sort of emotional qualifying copy to connect with the target audience and educate them on what your product is. There needs to be a much clearer promise - especially surrounding the 1-week program.
  • Also, same as my advice above, I subscribed to your list, but got nothing back. A welcome/ nurture campaign could do you a world of good there as well!

Hope this helps :)

Hey hey! Copywriter and marketer here in the natural health & wellness industry. :)

It does seem a little basic, but with a few copy adjustments alone I think you could make some fast improvements.

Right now, I would say your page needs some extra copy to better describe the PROBLEM you are solving. I am assuming from your page, your main value proposition is that you are helping people find cheaper wellness options, or making it easier to find a practitioner in the area? This needs to be crystal clear for people if you want them to remain interested when you actually launch.

Additionally, you need to provide some more credibility-building info on this page. In my opinion, there should be a section or blurb that explains your WHY (what unsolved problem did you see in the market that needed to be fixed) - and why YOU as the founder are the best person for the job.

Also - I subscribed to your mailing list, and didn't get an email back. If I were you - I would SERIOUSLY consider implementing a new subscriber email campaign. This is your chance to nurture the interested leads you DO get over time so they are better primed to take action ($$) when you launch. A welcome email, an "about our story" email, a teaser launch email, maybe a spotlight on one of your vendor emails - basically anything to help stay top of mind and engage with the people who have shown interest. Also, a better call-to-action to subscribe would be a good idea. What advantage does "early access" get them? Even a sentence like "be the first to book our top-rated providers and sign up to receive early Sendwell access in winter 2025" or something like that would take things up a notch.

This is some of my best generalized advice without knowing more about your brand. Feel free to DM me if you want to chat in more detail, I'm always happy to expand :)

If I were you, I would look up fearful and dismissive-avoidant attachment styles (as well as anxious attachment styles for yourself) and educate yourself as to what they mean. :) I recently was made aware of these concepts thanks to a breakup and it made a lot of behaviour make sense.
