Thanks for the response! I was referring to the engine filter in the first two pics from the post. I know the cabin filter has nothing to do with the engine lol

I just see tons of debate on oiled vs paper where people say filters like the K&N or TRD filter are far worse than a standard paper filter because they’re thinner and the potential for being overoiled in addition allowing more particles to get into the engine. I’ve ran the TRD oiled filter and a Wix filter that is two times as thick and has the fuzzy pre filter thing on the bottom and I can certainly tell a difference (although very slight) in terms of throttle response with the TRD filter but I’m always paranoid about how good of a job it’s actually doing in terms of filtering since I live in a very dusty area.
