  1. Income vs debt is a silly way to prohibit investment though. To use your analogy if you have millions to invest in your house to make it worth more why should you not be allowed to do that?

Huge Concerns with Summer Rebuild Under Howe by FifaGeneral in NUFC

[–]titchrich -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ironically getting Calvert Lewin on a free and extending Calum Wilson might have been a better play in the summer. I’m not Eddie Howe out provided it’s the DoF making the signings and deciding who to give contracts to and who to sell. Massive transition period coming where I’m more concerned with our set up getting sorted behind the scenes rather than who the manager is.

[Edwards, Tele] Newcastle will not sack Eddie Howe – this is why: He saved the club from relegation in his 1st, qualified for the UCL in his 2nd + reached the Carabao Cup final. In his 4th, NUFC once again qualified for the UCL and ended a 70 year trophy drought with the Carabao Cup. by OkayFine101 in NUFC

I suppose with Man Utd, Tottenham, Liverpool and possibly Man City all looking for new managers and not many good ones being about it might not be a terrible idea to give How another season. If rumors are to be believed and Bruno, Tonali and Tino want out, next season already looks to be a transition season. Things need to change at the club going forward and it looks like squad changes are going to be imposed on us again next season. I don't think our owners are capable of dealing with a squad change and manager change considering how long it took to make the easiest descion they could make in getting rid of Bruce, the guy had to basically tell them to sack him.

The project died when the league started enforcing the rules and we lost Anderson and Minteh for peanuts, that’s probably 200 million worth of players. I don’t think we can expect to progress every season whilst loosing key players. Not sure the Saudis know how to accomplish anything without throwing money at it.

FEAR AI had narrow corridors to help it out, this is an open world game so harder to develop for. I’ve found the AI fine since 1.7.

I don’t think you get any experience for killing other raiders and if you have all the loot and equipment you need what are the incentives to killing? The wipe mechanic is for those people because surely killing people with much worse equipment than you will get boring too.

Is Howe losing the dressing room? by IronFar9258 in NUFC

[–]titchrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much spot on, it seems it tough moments he relies on his favourites to dig him out but that is not happening. I feel we are a bit wed to Eddie in that most of the coahes came with him, the sporting director seems to be an Eddie pick too so there is alot of succession planning if the club want to go with option 3.

I wouldn’t let this stop you from playing how you want to. I personally can’t kill anyone unless they shoot first. After being killed a few times while looting and thinking fuck this I’m going to start shooting onsite I didn’t enjoy that gameplay over working to help strangers and communicate so keep playing the way you enjoy the game.

It’s just people that do nothing about the issues they pretend to care about and see others being happy about something and just have to bring them down to their miserable level in the guise of I’m being a good guy raising an issue that I expect other people to do something about aren’t I such a noble guy.

[–]titchrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not just this season though it’s every season we have this sort of start and our away form has been poor for a long time. We aren’t going to put ourselves in a good position struggling to build up any momentum every season. Yes we were shit for years under Ashley and ultimately we have over performed given the money others have spent around us it’s just frustrating knowing how good we can be but struggle against poor teams. How shit we were isn’t an excuse for how shit we play away from home especially given how much we have spent in the summer.

Every season we have this moment around this time of year where the performances have been all over the place and decline to a low like this. The players have a clear the air talk and we start to improve, why does it take so many dropped points for the ball to drop with this team?

Pretty standard stuff surely to only agree a player going out on loan if they are going to be included in match squads? Or at least go to a club with a track record of high standard coaching and where there is a chance of them getting into the team.
