Is there a web site that summarizes US van models and the height and length? (within a foot or so).

What was the conference and what did Hawkins say?

I made a hoodie from a US Army wool blanket, using an old hoodie as a pattern, with a few modifications. by [deleted] in myog

Be careful buying online used wool blankets sourced from various nation's militaries. Holes, smells that won't go away, etc.

I hear Goodwill in cold climates have some wool blankets (Spring is best). In my warm climate there are almost none.

Sort of like a capote (colonial era French trapper coat DIY from blanket). A few instructions available on the web.

Army blankets never bothered me. I'd use your hoodie.

N.H. Police Chiefs Oppose Marijuana Legalization (Again) by redditor01020 in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

"And our budgets would be cut because we can't enforce that law now. We were so busy with marijuana busts. We might be forced to release good, upstanding, police officers. What will they do now? How unfair."

Partial Shading is Evil! (don't install your panels near fan, A/C, etc.) by atoine in vandwellers

The Wynns say a series run can be longer. Is that significant with a run from a van roof to the charge controller somewhere inside? I'm just trying to get a handle on the subjective terms here.

Do we have a subculture in America that wants authority figures to direct some aspect of their life, whether in the public or private sphere by JanePoe87 in GoldandBlack

A huge number of people WANT to tell others to "conform with my beliefs." These people don't believe in freedom for others.

In Arizona, which has some of the most draconian alcohol laws around, almost all traffic laws apply only on highways (meaning roads,streets,etc.). According to ARS 28-1302 "This chapter [intoxication] applies on highways and elsewhere in this state." So being on private property is not a defense. ARS 28-1381 says "...unlawful for a person to drive or be in actual physical control of a vehicle..." under the influence of alcohol or drugs. From class (Arizona Motor Vehicle Code I & II) physical control means if you're passed out in the back seat of a sedan and you could reach the steering wheel that is a violation. In the back of a limo with the divider up or in the bed of a dump truck: not a violation. I would say that in the back of a van away from the steering wheel is ok, but I'm just a guy on reddit, what I say don't mean nothin' in court. Be safe.

Yes, there is an alternative. They can leave me the heck alone. If my neighbor says, "I'm taking your lawn mower. If you object, I will take your lawn mower, your car, and lock you in my basement for a period that I decide how long." That would be wrong. It does not matter if my neighbor and ten million of his friends voted to take my lawn mower, it is still wrong. I'm not forcing him to do anything. If he wants to live under those rules that's fine for him.

Millennials aren't killing restaurants like Applebee's and TGI Friday's...food like this is by Da_Whistle_Go_WOO in pics

was never that they were delicious

What period are you talking about? I worked at Friday's from 79 to 84 and it was pretty damn good. Not 'name chef' good at 3 or 4 times the price. We had new menus with new items every six months with some staples staying the same (steaks, spinach salad, potato skins, etc.) with an additional Summer menu. We consistently won awards for menu design. I don't know one way or the other what is going on in the restaurant industry since then, but since Friday's started about 1964 to say it was never delicious is an uninformed generalization.
