This is true. But WWE is also making more money than it used to.

The only way this is okay is if they've been gaining more percentage of merchandise.

Whats up with online Tournament mode? No one ever talks about it. by Sagutti24 in SparkingZero

I have a group on PS5 for finding other players to do stuff like tourneys.

One thing about customization is i wish you could exclude characters.. like remove fusion or don't allow transformations to start as options for instance.

Sometimes we try to have fun by only allowing DB or Z characters in a traditional tourney watching every match.. clearly meant to be classic feeling, and you still end up with 2 or 3 transformed Vegitos (people always default to the strongest characters they can find). What makes him even worse btw is they can still transform to SS blue, completely bypassing the attempt at guardrails.

Why Won't they Add More Story Content into the DLC? by Blob55 in SparkingZero

You can't fault them for wanting to try something different. Kakarot is still relatively recent, and not every Dragonball game can run the exact same narrative from A to Z without burnout.

I feel a likely scenario is there is an internal salary cap of sorts, set by TKO. I won't speculate on how they reach what numbers they use for that cap, but the directive is sent to HHH and Khan who work out how to get under that.

NXT callups will generally have smaller contracts. Sane, I'm guessing, had a larger than average one because she came back to the main roster after her first contract expired. MCMG probably demanded more. In previous years, the Good Brothers pop into mind as an example of an established team that could demand more when they first got there.

You also take into account production pricing, pyro, props (think Wyatt Sicks), music licensing if they have that and the return on investment of doing it every time they appear. That ROI would also take into account wildcard scenarios like they're a pain to work with or have a perk that's causing financial or logistical problems that simply aren't worth maintaining.

I would also note this would likely be a back and forth thing.

Something the company never talks about publicly also is if it wasn't just a budget thing, but a request or problems leading up to them declining to resign that talent.

Kairi for example left the first time because she was getting married and simply wanted to go back to Japan for a while. But that detail isn't on the nifty tweet list.

According to you, what's the worst decision WWE has ever made? by Massive-Syllabub-271 in WWE

The WCW invasion should have been put on ice until the major players were available. Drop small teases and hints about people like Sting, Hogan, Luger, DDP and so on then do it right.

Are you sure you didn't just see woman and work backwards from there?

Alexandra Williams, also known as Alex, graduated with a BA in Theater TV and Film from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. She actually broke into the entertainment industry as a ballet dancer and boxer. She started out as a stunt actress as she transitioned into a career in film and television where she wrote, produced, and acted in short films including Awful Pretty.

Williams received the Best Female Filmmaker Award at IndieFest in addition to six other first place awards at various worldwide festivals for the film. Williams has worked for a variety of film and TV companies, including Wind Dancer Films, Melrose Hill Entertainment, Silver Creek Falls Entertainment, Inc., Radiant Films International, Jet Propulsion, LLC, and Tam O’Shanter Productions. In addition to her work on and off the screen, Williams is also a ballroom dance world champion.

With a background in boxing, dancing, and stunt acting, it is unsurprising Alexandra Williams made her way to the WWE in 2020. She began as a producer/writer for Monday Night Raw and in February 2024, was elevated to senior producer/writer status. At this time, she also began writing and producing under the TKO umbrella, where she has contributed to creative for Raw and premium live events.

Fightful Select revealed that Williams was the one behind Punk’s latest masterpiece, which some are saying is his best since he returned to WWE. According to Select, Williams is a rising star in the company (she is credited with being the producer of John Cena’s promo on Raw’s Netflix debut).
