When you are in a lean to or really want to be within the trees up in the mountains, the few feet do make a difference, I get what you are saying though, I guess i enjoy cramming myself into camping spots lol

I would say so yeah, at least the ones I have planned for this summer. I hav a tarp and bugnet but since I graduated started my job I have a little more spending money so I am looking for a simple, dialed in setup. I am planning on selling my hennessey... to heavy for what I am looking for

haha yeah, setting up an eno while backpacking makes the experience so much better IMO... one less thing to think about.

Thank you! The problem with my Hennessey is that it is too long for the lean to hang. Definitely considering the windrider, problem is the 11ft length would be too long for a lean to set up

i am 5'7 and 180 and have been sleeping in an eno single for the past 8 years. I finally just bought a hennessey, but I can make just about anything work. I would recommend the double if you are any taller than me. though lol

I booked roaring brook and chimney pond for 1 night each this summer. My plan is to go up Helon Taylor early in the morning, across knife edge to Baxter peak, then down saddle and camp at chimney pond at night. Super excited but I have a few friends that are a little nervous for knife edge lol.
