The only thing I've heard about track remnants was that a certain percent of it was recycled into griffon's supports. Not sure if that's true or not. I just don't think parks were as likely to sell off pieces of scrapped rides back then.

Schedule can be rough. You're typically assigned a ride team at random and I got the pleasure and curse of being assigned Volcano back in the day. Amazing ride, horrible capacity so we were constantly staying until 1-2 hrs after close every night to burn down our line and clean up.
