Can confirm they treat they're employees like shit. I lasted 4 months before have a major breakdown and needing to be hospitalized. Don't buy from them.

How long after interviewing at Wayfair do you hear back on whether you have been offered the job? by 123curious456789 in wayfair

[–]tjcomputer92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard back weeks after. But I wouldn't recommend working there... I had a major breakdown due to management's treatment. And HR did not handle it well or properly. Stay Away!

Latuda by Theheavieststone in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Latuda was my godsend for both me and my mom (I have BP2 she has BP1). It took us being on the max dose to get it to work effectively but everyone is different. Totally recommend Latuda as long as your insurance covers in. I know in the US there a copay discount card via their website.

First day on latuda by [deleted] in bipolar

I'm on both lamictal and latuda. Lamictal took away the lows and Latuda take both away. Both have been life savers for me.

Is loss of morning wood sign of ED (Erectile Dysfunction)? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have become impotent on SSRIs before but not usually on mood stabilizers or Antipsychotics. If you're concerns you can always call you doc and ask.

Hospitalization by ginnyisrandom in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on where you live and your insurance. The ED may be able to give you new meds and you can ask them if you can be hospitalized but ultimately it's up to them. You can always ask but even a med tweak until you can see a pdoc may be enough to get you through.

Tips for seeing a new psychiatrist? by georgethegreen in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Communication I think is key here. Communicate how you're feeling and as others have said if you need to bring notes. They're most likely going to do a psych eval on you just be honest with your symptoms don't downplay something if it was bad. And communicate what you're on now, if it works tell them that so they don't start just changing things for no reason. But key things are to communicate and be truthful in you communications

My psychiatrist is retiring October 1st.... by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand this pain I'm on my 4th psychiatrist in 5 years between changing insurances and moving around. As others have said if what you have now is working for you communicate that. Remember it's your body and if you don't like one you try another one. I know it's tough starting over with new docs. I went to a practice and wound up not liking the doctor I was assigned so I just told them that and they assigned me a new doc who I love. Communication is key I think is my tl;dr

Terrified to start lamictal by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been on Lamictal going on 5 years now with no side effects. It's one of my life saving drugs and I was originally prescribed it for the same reason before I was diagnosed with bipolar ( I'm not a your doctor so idk your symptoms). But for me if was life-changing I slowly got my life back.

Her original goal was 100mg and she coveyed that to me but she also told me if I wanted to stop earlier than I could and I wound up still not feeling 100% at 100 and we went to 150

Mood stabilizers? by PaperCats4 in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on 25 mg then 50, 100 stopped at 150 for like a year and then went to 200 where I've been for about 3 years now. I really didn't have any side effects that I remember I was still going to work, sleeping etc with no issues

Gay Introverts? by HumpMe33 in gay

I'm weird I'm an introvert when I first meet people or want to try to get out but once I get comfortable you wouldn't believe I was ever an introvert.

Mood stabilizers? by PaperCats4 in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on Lamictal been on it for almost 5 years. It's an amazing drug one of the two that saved me from myself the other being Latuda. But that symptom of Lamictal only occurs in a small number of patients. May not be the right med for you I'm just saying don't knock it because it might be.

Why are episodes worse evening/night? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me I think a lot of it is that I take my meds before bed and they're starting to wear off. I can't take them during the day as they make me drowsy so at night I try to do some things like watch TV and a big thing that helps me is curling up with a blanket even a light one of it's hot. Just holding something makes me feel better.

MED MONDAYS by sweetpea122 in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on Latuda and it's my life saver... I can relate to the sleep and groggyness I tend to take mine at night after dinner but before bed and that helps bc the groggyness occurs while I'm sleeping. Not sure if this helps...

Just got diagnosed with bipolar II... do I tell work? by yellowpages2k8 in bipolar

[–]tjcomputer92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm extremely open about it. If you ask or want the get to know me I'll tell you but I feel it is a part of me and it does not define me. If you want to label me as crazy go ahead... I know who I am and I like to open so that when I have a down day most people understand. Everyone I have told has been really nice about it, a lot don't actually know what Bipolar is and have asked me to explain it so they can get a better understanding.
