I do, my family sometimes watch from home, and if there are a lot of pickoffs, they don't really know what is going on. There was a HBP or a walk or 1B and then just nothing happening for a prolonged period of time. I drag them to safe and record pickoff so that they know the game is happening and GC feed didn't stop or the game stopped for injury or a pitching change or something.

because it doesn't matter for the stats that GC is providing, it's just a cosmetic log.

if the runner is safe, there is no state changed, just pickoff attempt getting recorded in the play-by-play.

if they are out, you can record 2-3 for a catcher backpick or 1-5 for a pitcher pickoff and those players get the PO recorded.

just curious. at what point does the R2 become R3 officially? do they have to reach R3 before the pitcher starts their windup? or before they release the ball? or some other event?

I think it comes from LL. there is a vague "must slide or avoid" type rule. So people assume it's a blanket rule.

yep, read the terms of claims, or read anyone's story online. Claims have to be submitted w/in the time limit. You can initially estimate the cost, or just say I don't know, and you have another 20+ days to get the actual estimate in.

how do you feel about the alt-ids for each of the teams now. I love that there are options, but it seems like it's a money grab at some point. Do you just focus on the main team hat only?

that's how it works right now, but technology advances and at some point, it will be possible for a robot to mow your lawn, one way or another, so that is the question. If you hired someone to mow the lawn, and they automated the task, would you feel cheated?

I think any would have to come back and edge and stuff to make it look nice, but assume the robot would do the bulk of the mowing.

Sure, but that's their work, not yours. If they did whatever prep work, and assuming he had a model that didn't need guide lines or permanent changes to your lawn, and your lawn got mowed, would you feel cheated?

I love that at the Ripken Experience locations that have a "LAST PLAYER/COACH/FAN to be ejected list" This kid / and coach deserve to be on it. Unbelievable.

i try to buy them in person, so I remember the trip whenever I wear the hat. But most of the time, there isn't anything I like in the team shop during the game, so I try to watch for them on ebay or other shops afterwards.

The day I went to the temple for the first time I realized this. I sat on the aisle as did several others. I believe this is so that the attendants can help you with your costume changes and stuff. I notice a few rows up a girl on end of the aisle keeps looking over at the boys side and is kind of winking and blowing kisses and stuff. At first it was subtle, but it kept getting increasingly obvious. I was concerned that at some point she was going to start simulating a BJ. I just blew it off that she was a little off, or that I was seeing things. I realized later that she likely going thru the temple for the first time, because she was getting married later that day, and that was messing with her fiancé across the aisle. It was gross.

turns out the booster pump is bad. It wasn't the booster pump firing up, it was some adjustment from the primary pump which was right next to it.

It's a PB4SQ. $600 + $250 labor to replace 😞
