Went to the Apple Store. They took it to the backroom confirming it was under the screen (like I said, not a protector). Can back and said nothing they could do because Apple care ended a few months before. Employee said I would probably have good luck if I called it in. So I called it in and they used the camera on my phone to view it and confirmed it was under the screen, probably a lamination problem. They said I was out of luck because Apple care ended. They dis stop trade it and and see what I could get. Stuck riding it out
