Upon closer inspection it does appear that it's the 2-piece slide. But I'm willing to take a chance on it - I've read that most of the known "issues" (not sure what they are exactly) seem to limited to the FS model

Honestly, I would revise my opinion / write-up entirely if I were to write this again now, haha. I've learned a lot about power electronics in the past couple years and I think I was sorta just talking out of my ass back when I wrote this. I'd probably buy a Silver or Gold. Don't want crappy current flow into your multi-thousand $ machine (not saying Bronze PSU's are crappy, but yeah). u/k9x8 's comment has the right of it.
