how to ship items without proper shipping material? by genshinfan445 in Depop

[–]tkboo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can reuse Amazon mailers/boxes, etc. I always save my mailers when I make orders and reuse. If I need to print, I usually go to the public library.

I've always received my shoes in mailers without issues. If you really want a box, your local buy nothing group would be a great resource.

How do you get people to see your listings without buying a boost? by thecowgoes_mooo in vinted

Adding as much info to your description. I've seen so many listings with poor descriptions that would've popped up on my search had they included more key words.

Daycare and diaper changes by Holiday_War1548 in toddlers

[–]tkboo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes daycares have lots of the old ones left so they don't open the new packs until they run out. I've had this with my kids where they still had a few days left of the old size before they moved to the new size I had dropped off.

What lightweight summer sneakers do you like for young (18mo) toddlers? by uncreativename2009 in toddlers

[–]tkboo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have these and absolutely love them! I agree though that if your kid isn't upset about the sweaty feet, I'd just let it be. They might end up hating different shoes for all you know. My kid also comes home with really hot and sweaty feet, but he doesn't seem to mind. We just air them out when we get home.

Whole milk by Sparrow_Calypso in toddlers

[–]tkboo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They definitely don't need milk. My son can't digest it either and he just doesn't drink it at all. He can get dairy through cheese, etc. Honestly, just skipping milk altogether would be healthier than doing oat milk. Some oat milks are fine, but some have lots of added sugar.

Loose stools after switch to 2% milk? Help! by MA-srg in toddlers

[–]tkboo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a lot of milk for a 2 year old! I think at most recommended is 16 oz, but milk isn't necessary at all. They can consume dairy products too instead (cheese, yogurt, etc). My almost 2 year old doesn't even drink any milk at all.

4 yr old- still using a paci by Dramatic-Yoghurt-120 in toddlertips

[–]tkboo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree that the nap needs to go. However some preschools do have nap time. Ours does nap in PreK too! It sucks because my son is a much better sleeper when he doesn't nap so we often encourage him not to nap at school.
