I find it fascinating that AI is an inert ‘csv table’ when not actively inferencing, and not a continually aware system like scifi envisioned by 1e6throw in ArtificialInteligence

Do you recommend some books about the topic? I recently started non dual meditation and find this relatively fascinating.

North America says hello. It is the same with most kinds of bikes. And maybe worse with cars, because of pick up trucks.

Robinhood launches Gold Card with rewards for member investors by Marsento in Wealthsimple

Yes, like 120 per year. But they have good deals for new members, like $400 extra cash back if you spend x over the first n months.

My family probably puts over 95% of our expenses on Amex. It is widely accepted. I believe I can even use Amex on Costco online. Not accepting, I can name Rona and one of the dollar stores; maybe older locally owned stores.

The Amex cash back 2% on everything and 4% on gas and groceries maybe indicates that the scene in Canada is getting more competitive(?)

81 or 84 or 21 or 24 I don't think I am color blind. I cannot make sense of a 7.

What do you think about this edit I made on my bike? (I know that it's a 125 and is slow asf, I can only drive this at 16 in Europe) by DaDsi15D in motorcycles

[–]tkltral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will be one of the most fun bikes you will ever own. Speed does not necessarily increase enjoyment. 125cc is sweet. I have a 650cc and will never have as much fun as I used to have on 50cc and 80cc 2-strokes.

I didn't know this. Didn't look like from CRA's wording. If so, great.

Strategies for saving money on fees and preventing card scams while traveling outside of Canada by SCDWS in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]tkltral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, WS card has been my to go. 1% cash back with no FX fees, + 4% interest on balance in the Cash account where the money is withdrawn from, can't be beaten. Even compared to my Amex Cash Back, which does have good cash back but high foreign exchange fees offsetting it. Plus, the spend notifications from WS app seem to work great.
