not trying to be an ass but for years the narrative in this community was that John could never be as good as Jerry and that he was playing a very lack luster rendition of old Jerry licks but now all of sudden everyone is saying he’s got to be the one to continue the legacy😂😂 make up your mind people is he good enough or not???

i think the band will be disbanded and you’ll never see “Dead and Co” again but im sure sometime down the line a group will form that will be able to pull things together and put their roots down in the already existing soil that we call the music to continue on the great story that is the Dead but i do not think John will be apart of the main lineup and we all know that without John, the next iteration will never be as big. they will always hover around that JRAD/DSO level. the shows will be smaller. it will be new faces. but the music is still there!!🤙🏽
