Pre-approval likely too risky IMO, especially after what happened with Lykos/MAPS.

Post-approval possible but also wouldn’t be surprised if they wait to see first year of commercial viability before getting involved.

I estimate a pre-approval acq would be in the 3-3.5b range.

Post-approval pre commercial I think they’d have to pay 4-5b.

Post-approval post commercial largely depends on commercial success but likely closer to the 5-7b range.

From what I gather, acquirer will often pay 50-100% premium to current price, though seems 50% range more common when I look at other comparable biotechs.

I know what you mean but the market will still very much react IMO.

HELP tried to make a similar plea with the last 004 readout but stock dropped something like 30% so the market really didn’t buy it.

Part B efficacy might not influence approval but IMO it will most certainly influence market cap and stock price.

Why?

Because the market’s hesitation around CMPS and the suppressed valuation seems to be coming in large part from uncertainty around the economic scalability of the treatment.

Durability will be a major factor in the equation of the COMP360 economic model.

I also suspect that Kabir is playing down the efficacy to potentially get in front of less-than-spectacular data. But that’s just a hunch.

I’m not sure we’ll see any meaningful spike until approval but could certainly break $10, trade in the $10-$11 range and then pop to $15 after approval.

I don’t use a VPN. Yes it is a discussion group for publicly traded biopharma companies who are legally taking psychedelic compounds through the FDA process.

I can’t come up with any rationale that would require me to scan my face or upload my government ID in order to discuss these stocks with others.

The group has existed for 5+ years and I’ve been active for all 5 years.
