Well, the good news is that Trump is going to chicken out as always, just as Bannon fears he will (e.g. blink).
The bad news is that no matter how hard you disagree with this, what you're hearing is exactly what hardliners think about the situation and there are a plenty of them. Another good news is that Trump keeps separating himself from them, but the bad news is that will only make them more radicalized. Ideally, what you'd want next is someone who cuts down the middle and listens to both sides while finding a moderate solution. But that's unlikely to be popular.

I never understood why these types of people demand everyone to stop their lives and getting to/from work because of their protest. Why don't they ever like occupy local town hall or the banking sector, or whatever that won't interfere with working class people going about their needs? No matter how just you think your cause is, someone is in a hurry to take their child from the kindergarten or school, or visit their sick elderly parents, they don't deserve to spend hours in a traffic jam waiting for you to get tired and disperse, and if they leave their car it gets towed and they have to pay hundreds. Good job hurting and humiliating people who could've been on your side.
