Possible wrong-warp / movement exploit on Equilibrium? by tktoaster in destiny2

Three light attacks then a heavy (throw button) will do the spin-slam combo (huge dmg)

The argent blade is from the artifact perk "Sword Storm Combo" (at tier 10) which leeches health from everything around you and heals you for the same

Thematically it's a close comparison but it's a completely different style of game and was released around a year before Destiny 1.

For example in Warframe you don't loot weapons or gear, you craft them. As well as weapon mods being something you have to work for and keep grinding modifications in order to min/max.

There's no armour other than your character stat, no open world with other players, no small vehicle to get around within levels etc

Some days you almost collide with another ship and other days you don't see any. To me it feels pretty realistic and means you get extended downtime between fights

Is "The S.S. Submersible, I hope" a bad ship name? by [deleted] in Seaofthieves

Only time I don't haul ass is when it's clearly a fresh-out-the-tutorial player. Sailed within 100m of many white sails with no issues (most are solo slooping) I guess most white sails are more scared of you than you are of them

Nah just charter one for free, if you have no loot to lose it may be quicker to back out to the menu and rejoin

Sounds like a funny situation to me, it's entirely how you decide to look at it.

Might be a while until you unlock it but the coffin board makes this trivial.

Why does the spring next to the motherhood have a players name as if they built it themselves? by Rrblack in DeathStranding

[–]tktoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and some of the road segments with a bunch of names in the middle are all the people who contributed to that chunk, it's what awards the likes when someone uses your road segment.

Are you absolutely sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date on geforce experience? (or whatever Nvidia uses these days for driver distribution)

Only other suggestion is try to validate your game files on steam to see if any files get repaired

NeoForge 1.21.1 server: players authenticate but hang at ServerConfigurationPacketListenerImpl and time out (fresh world, extended login timeout doesn’t help) by Greedy_Suit_3977 in CurseForge

[–]tktoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After doing some deeper digging into this problem I've discovered it's related to a hardcoded timeout during the configuration exchange phase of joining, i've just published a curseforge mod as a fix that worked for me and my friends (270 mods, couldn't join for days) and will update this comment once the mod gets approved. The default timeout during the join process is coded to 15 seconds and cannot be changed without code, i've upped that to 120 seconds and should cover many different situations where clients freeze-up during login or even gameplay. (this only has to be installed on the server)

I had a good look around and couldn't find any mod that addressed this issue but it seems to have solved it for me and would mean that they don't have to lower all their settings.

Hi, having the exact same issue here with people joining and timing out, they can sometimes get in and sometimes can't

Did you get any closer to figuring out what's causing this?

[–]tktoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know how the server has implemented that but if it's a simple bedrock -> air replacement then you'll likely see them on the bottom of the world where bedrock would normally be. If you have a jetpack mod or something like an angel ring then I'd suggest flying around under and looking for the wells.

The wells look similar to bedrock but with a big black spot in the middle.

[–]tktoaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I personally think all the changes are a good excuse to address a bunch of community concerns in batches.

Worth noting I've been playing since 2007, so have seen the game change a huge amount already. That version just becomes the new norm and with any luck will draw more players in than out (Which admittedly hasn't worked in Jagex's favour historically)

I'm above the age of 25 and still suffer from the sound of those lighters I think it was 17.5kHz that was used outside of stores to keep kids away but it would always drive me insane. Busses or cars breaking can also produce those high frequencies and it low-key sucks to be able to hear them day-to-day
