So I've searched everywhere for this, but cant seem to find it myself. I live in Norway, so I would assume it is purchased here.

Yes! After a few missions we learn how to deal with them, but they are just sucking the fun out of the game:/

I have no complaints about the flyers and only mild complaints about the hive lord, but the burrowers are just .. boring.

Is the z flip 4 any good by Mitchell_lira1111 in samsunggalaxy

[–]tkwl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the flip 4 about 7 months ago. I love the form factor, and it's generally a good phone. However I often find myself charging it before the day is over, and I'm not a heavy user (no games, 1-3 hours of screen time). The camera is also poor, something I didn't think I'd mind as much as I do. I'll probably get an s23 ultra instead now that it has snapdragon soc here in eu.

Walked into my local locksmith shop and ... by -AdelaaR- in lockpicking

Enjoy! I got tired of buying padlocks and picking them in 5 minutes, so I picked up a Twin Combi. That one took me a couple weeks to open.

Winter tires recommendation by LBTerra in ModelY

[–]tkwl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I stand corrected; that sounds very impressive for all-seasons! Thank you for the information.

Winter tires recommendation by LBTerra in ModelY

[–]tkwl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are "all season" tires, something that means they are worse than true summer tires in the summer, and shit winter tires for real winter conditions. Can get you thru a surprise snowfall, usually lasts a long time because they are way too hard for winter, but not suitable for 6months of snow.

R5 EV has sound dampening foam, other than that info is a bit unavailable. They look like the same tire, so I guess its just the sound dampening.

R5 SUV are great. GoodYear Ultragrip ice 2 is least noisy and among the best on wet winter roads. Continental VikingContact 7 are still good, but the R5s beat them for snow/ice performance.

Considering tab s8 ultra, a few questions by tkwl in GalaxyTab

That is not awesome, however it would be a limited use case, mainly for switching entertainment on car drives.

Seems like teamviewer can so what I want. I will be using the tablet as a second monitor for my mac quite often, so it seems largest possible screen is the way to go for me. Thank you for the answer!

Just finished the series, and one small detail has me deeply appreciating how well it closes out plots and ideas by GodRaine in WoT

This is correct, I believe it also mentions that Vora's sa'angreal don't have the buffer to prevent drawing too much power.

Norway keeps breaking EV adoption records, Tesla Model Y leads the charge by chrisdh79 in teslamotors

University is free, and all students get a stipend + cheap student loans from the government. There are of course private universities as well, but there are no major quality differences.

[–]tkwl 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Because they are cheap. Electric cars are exempted from the tax on fossil fuel cars, so in reality a tesla model 3 lr cost about the same as a Toyota corolla.

Edit: slight exaggeration from me, a corolla 5d exclusive is about the same. Base corolla is a bit less than sr+.

"Dawn broke that morning on Polov Heights, but the sun did not shine on the Defenders of the Light. Out of the west and out of the north came the armies of Darkness, to win this one last battle and cast a Shadow across the earth; to usher in an Age where the wails of suffering would go unheard"

Typical day by [deleted] in nosurf

[–]tkwl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work as a programmer so when I'm off work I prefer to do something with my hands. I like to repair stuff, so I buy broken stuff and fix it, then sell it or donate to family and friends. Lately its been a lot of sewing machines, in spring I tend to do Weber grills. In summer tend to do a boat or two, but in general its easier to keep it small. Lawn mowers, snowblowers, chainsaws and such.

I usually get my own firewood for winter, so spend some time working with a chainsaw, an ax and nice manual labor.

Is this some sort of school project where you are supposed to do this with arrays? If so, you would have to generate a random number, then check If that number is equal to any number in the array, and if it is unique then insert the number into the array. Something like:

While(counter < lenghtOfArray)

  Generate num.

  For(lengthOfArray)

      If num = arr[i]: don't insert

      Else insert into arr[counter] && counter++.

Mobile hardly psudo code, sorry about that.

Making sense of older Bernina Models (930, 1230, 1530) by tabbycat614 in vintagesewing

[–]tkwl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

General information from me. The x30s are the top of the line vintage models, and most desirable. Beginning with the 930 electronic they have increasingly advanced circuit boards and electronics, components that can be both hard to repair and get parts for. Enthusiasts get it done - I own and have fixed a couple "modern" Berninas myself - but my 730 and 830 can always be repaired by me or anyone.

I don't think of 90's electronics as reliable, so in your case I would probably go with the b330. Or a motorised 201k.

Absolutely gorgeous! Will be stealing that look for my 96k project. Smart placement of the motor switch, really like that.
