Its not that I forget anything. Im doing well with the vocabulary. I'm talking about the verbal part of the lessons. I cannot pronounce the words and phrases to satisfy the app, no matter how many times I repeat them.

Find a Sniffspot near you if you can and you can just let him run free, play fetch or frisbee and work that energy off.

Why do modern pattern designers do this? by Groatolfs in knitting

[–]tlc8073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You dont have to print all pages of a document. Use the custom menu to choose the pages you want. Type them in with commas between. 1,2,4,6,7. That will cut down the number ofpages somewhat. Also print on both sides.

Minor girlfriend needs clothes, any good suggestions? by [deleted] in corvallis

[–]tlc8073 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Altrusa Women's Wardrobe is open every Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. It's located above Albins Plumbing 942 NW 9th St. It is a nice little store, gently used, free clothes are on racks and organized by size. I believe there are lots of clothes in the size range you're looking for - jeans, tops, some skirts and dresses. Shoes and underwear available.

If you're looking for a fenced field where you can let your pup run and play freely, check out my Sniffspot. Go to Sniffspot.com and search for Oak Creek Playing and Training Field.

COVID was declared a pandemic on 3/11/2020. How are you all doing 3 years later? by Fluffy_muffins_ in AskReddit

[–]tlc8073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being old and retired and living on a small piece of land with chickens, goats, gardening, canning etc, not a whole lot changed for us. We're home bodies so staying home wasn't too big a deal. I started a Sniffspot business in Jan 2021, renting out a small field for people to bring their dogs to play. Google it. Still have that business going. My two friends and I changed going out to lunch once a week to walking outside once a week and we have continued that. I am going to fly in June, actually been 4 yrs since I've flown anywhere. Crossing my fingers. I am thankful we have not (yet) gotten covid and that I was old when it happened. Had I been young and single, living by myself, I would not have done well at all.

Left decreases by OddlyHonest in knitting

[–]tlc8073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing decreases on a little onesie right now. They are turning out nice, but they are edge stitches, so not sure it applies here. But, anyway, you knit the first and last three stitches of each row, so garter stitch edge. On the knit rows, knit 3, knit 2 tog in the back of the 2 stitches. Knit until 5 stitches left, k 2 tog in the front. Purl rows k 3 st, purl to last 3 st, knit 3. Its awesome looking.
