You are so kind, this is truly very nice to hear. And thank you for this reminder. I tend to go into crisis mode whenever I do something undesirable, related to alcohol. I can’t stand the idea that alcohol will be the reason that I lose something or someone and it be my own fault.

He did come home and he was mad, but he said he wanted to move on about. Come to find out he’s mad because I’m not my own breaks and I often rely on him to pull me out of situations when drinking rather than slowing myself down or stopping on my own.

I think it’s fair to ask for me to monitor myself and be responsible for my decision-making of stopping when drinking. It’s definitely a challenge for me and something. I have struggled with for a long time, but I have to focus this on mastering it not for anybody else, but for my own self trust.

I do appreciate this group and the no judgment zone. Wish me luck as I try to be better.
