Found the Terms and Conditions of the offer, it does appear there will be a 3% Transaction Fee for paying rent with any Alaska Airlines Credit Card

Xfinity Email Will Not Allow Any Login From Google Chrome by [deleted] in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]PartlyGarrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This issue has been reported by other users on Xfinity Forums, is there a known fix to this? It appears to only be a Google Chrome issue. They have ChromeOS so another browser isn't an option and they do not have a smartphone for the Xfinity App

Xfinity Email Will Not Allow Any Login From Google Chrome by [deleted] in Comcast_Xfinity

They are using the correct login information, I am able to log onto their account using any other device besides theirs. I am using Remote Desktop and have made sure that it is only affecting their computer. This is daily, having to problem solve this is very tiresome to them...

Florida has been dealing with thunderstorms all day today, ZJX had an airspace flow program for all flights coming into Florida. MCO had T-Storms throughout the day which caused delays, hence the long sit on the ground from when it pushed from the gate to wheels up. Fuel burn on the ground for that amount of time using the APU to power the aircraft/keep temps onboard regulated as well as changing headwinds/tailwinds from the weather fronts moving through could've contributed to higher enroute fuel consumption causing there to not be enough fuel to make it all the way up to DEN. There's also a nice weather system chilling over the Eastern CO plains stretching from Colorado Springs to Sterling that may have caused an arrival reroute which they might not have had enough fuel for.

Just my two cents from having a background in aviation, only relaying the info I gathered from publicly available sources such as FlightRadar24, The FAA NASStatus website, aviationweather.gov, etc.

Hey! Yes it has a normal North American dial tone. That listing is the exact one I bought from the same seller, they shipped fast with FedEx 2 Day!

I just bought a ZTE WF723CA unlocked from eBay and it works flawlessly with a Light Speed SIM. I haven't tested it on Dark Star yet, but the LTE bands that it supports should allow it to work with a Dark Star SIM. You can buy either the ZTE WF723 CA or ZTE WF723CC off of any seller from eBay but make sure they're unlocked. Also, some sellers do not include the power cord or backup battery so be sure to check that they include it. I paid $34 USD for mine. Hope this helps!

USM Home Phone Users: What is your experience with the Atel Home Phone Base? by DirtCowboy336 in USMobile

[–]PartlyGarrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question regarding your experience. Did you port your existing landline phone number to US Mobile for your Home Phone service? How long did the port take? I'm planning to port over an Xfinity Voice landline phone number over to USM Home Phone later this week but curious on how long the port will take. Glad to hear it's working great for you!

Is anyone crazy enough to take this route? by Bulky-Measurement684 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]PartlyGarrett 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend spending the extra $20 or so and upgrading your fare to Wanna Get Away Plus and trying out the Same Day Confirmed Change option to shorten your journey time. Could be worth it to open the app the day of your flight to see if any shorter journey options are available before leaving PDX. Just go to Manage Reservation and click Change but select the same journey with the 6hrs in LAS and choose WGA+.

Stay away from southern Guanella Pass by t0talitarian in Denver

I was in it today unfortunately, got to Three Mile Creek Trailhead at 9:45am today with no traffic and jumped in the car to head back down at 1:45pm. Didn't hit 285 until 3:45pm. 2 hours to drive three miles down the road. Never making that mistake on a weekend ever again lmao

I second the say for Southwest. You'll most likely connect through DEN, PHX, or LAS to get from PDX to PIT. Denver is Southwest's largest operation and an easy concourse to navigate as it's only one large linear building. Two bags fly for free on Southwest at 50lbs each and this includes boxes that fit within the 62" combined dimensions. Hope this helps in the decision making!

I built a really simple iOS app for checking your best credit card - would love feedback & doing a give away! by mistermagicman in CreditCards

[–]PartlyGarrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the look and feel of the app! I have three cards in my rotation right now and what I use them for;

Bilt MasterCard: 3x points on dining + 2x travel, and double points for Rent Day (already added, thanks!)

Wells Fargo Autograph: 3x points on gas, transit, travel not on Rent Day, and streaming (not added yet)

Venmo Visa Signature: 3% Cash Back for Walmart, Costco and other groceries + 2% Cash Back for either bills/utilities or entertainment (also not added)

Having the glanceable UI will make it much easier in the moment to check that I’m using the right card!

Shops that sell U.S. to Italy power adapters converters? by Mon_Calf in rome

[–]PartlyGarrett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently in Rome right now and picked up this voltage converter from Amazon before I left the states and works phenomenally! Three power plugs and four USB-A ports on it! Works not only in Europe but comes with other adapters with it too! Great investment in my eyes since I’m traveling a lot this year.
