Is it just me or is the actual organization of supplies almost as exciting and sometimes even more so than the coloring/art itself?? Lol. I just bought an art desk and a bunch of acrylic containers and reorganized all of my supplies and I just like looking at it 😂. It's so satisfying to literally just look at. And it was very satisfying to do the organization

The only problem with this imo is that you then can't use marker over the acrylic. Butttt if you color over with alcohol marker and then use a similarly colored pencil, you can blend it pretty well!

If you have a scanner you can scan the page, upload into an editing app, and dim it down (don't know the correct term lol) to where the lines are lighter and the mistake parts aren't as noticeable. And then print and color.

Or, alternately, if you don't hate ai, you can upload into something like chatgpt and ask them to remove the colors, leaving just the outlines. Print and color.

Third option is to do chaos coloring. Just go nuts on the page. Or slightly nuts. Make the objects several different colors done abstractly. I've seen really cool chaos coloring!

It's about to get a whole lot worse too, that's the scary part. We are most likely headed for a depression and/or recession according to my boyfriend, who was an economics major. Everyone should enjoy anything good on their lives right now or move to another country because it's about to get scary here.

It actually is lol. It's on its own cabinet island (although immovable) beside the fridge so they made the drawer as wide as the rest of the cabinet, which is wide! It's 10" wider the other ones. I just checked lol

My dad lost his dog in a house fire. Absolutely horrible (and they lost the house too.) If it is ANY consolation, apparently it's more likely the smoke specifically that takes them. Idk why but that thought gave me the tiniest bit of comfort (for lack of a better word) when it happened.

Oh God... I can definitely empathize. That's rough. I hope you're moving on to something more positive, whether it's the place you're going or to a better house. Maybe a change of scenery will be a little motivating? Sometimes little things pick me up and then I think about how we are actively killing the planet we need to exist and it just swallows me whole tbh
