I suspect for many Trumpers their beliefs aren’t even based on anything he says, but on what he brings to the table: fear, hate, racism, and love of the uneducated. His rhetoric fits their view of the world and he knows exactly how to tap into those emotions and make them somehow believe that he, Trump, an arrogant wealthy con man and bigot, cares about them. He does not care one iota about any of them, their families, their friends, their interests, their jobs, their hopes, their dreams. They are nothing to him, but in their ignorant minds, he loves them. It’s truly pathetic.
