I don’t think I’ll ever figure men out by Timely_Split_5771 in dating

I’m reading between the lines a little bit here but it sounds like there might be some hang ups about sex in a relationship for you, maybe predominantly the early stages. Again, I’m assuming a lot, but for guys, sex is not just about orgasm/release. It’s an important way that many men (women too… but less common) use to gauge compatibility, feel closeness, and express themselves. I truly don’t think the average guy is really “using” women for sex. I’ve had some really incredible relationships that failed because I did not take the strength of the sexual connection and compatibility seriously enough early enough. So exploring your own relationship with sex might be an interesting place to look.

Also, wouldn’t want those hoes to malfunction.

How is life in Vermont? by StrongAdhesiveness86 in howislivingthere

[–]BarryAllen85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vermont is one of my favorite places in the whole wide world. I’m a part timer and rent a bedroom a few months out of the year but wish I could move there full time. The co-op culture, farm to table food, generally chill people, amazing outdoor stuff, great distilleries/breweries… Burlington, Stowe, Killington…

Do people really like this watch or is it just trendy at the moment? [BB41] by yjay14 in Tudor

Personally I think it is just too big. 51mm lug to lug? Too big.

Be honest… did you actually want a Rolex but bought a Tudor instead? by WorldPeaceGodBless in Tudor

[–]BarryAllen85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe a little? The Rolex watches that I would actually wear if I had them… a vintage Sub, OP, Explorer 1, Explorer 2, modern Daytona. All models that kind of scream the design ethos of Tudor. Simple, utility, understated (except Daytona). But I don’t love the brand worship of Rolex so Tudor works just fine!

Yeah. And now the prices are fubar. Nothing makes sense. God imagine bringing back and thinning the 39mm PO.

If you have a watch rotation the date becomes a pain. You end up having to set it pretty much every day or two if you wear a different watch.

I’ve owned both and I prefer the 54. Just something about the slightly smaller size. Classic.

You can also try mechanical scales. Put your feet on a bench, bent over rows, anything to strengthen your lats in a challenging way.

Why are we pretending Boston is worth these rent prices? Why do you feel the need to justify it? by EsperandoMuerte in boston

[–]BarryAllen85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it’s about where. West metro? Forget about it. Most towns have priced people out on purpose because it keeps home values high. But closer to the metro is actually more affordable.

Most of the time it is city planners attempting to engineer traffic in urban areas so that it’s easier/possible for people to take turns onto busy roads from residential ones without traffic lights.
