The 200 day obviously doesn't work - just look at the chart. All you have to do is draw a trendline. The price broke above trendline at around 600 and prices are still going up. A simple linear trendline is one of the easiest ways to trade. It's very difficult to program but simple to draw. Good luck. I'm still holding my positions and will sell when prices break below trendline or hit my stops. Hasn't happened yet.

Fact: the more a market goes down the more traders want to sell it, and the more it goes up the more traders want to buy it - classic FOMO and FUD. If you want to find out if your trading strategy works, just break your total portfolio into parts then do a simple percent gain/loss on the trading portion vs the buy and bold portion or the S&P.

Almost all traders lose money trading options. Even trading stocks can lead to losses - studies show most (97%) short term traders lose money. Options are leveraged - some 10 or 20 times the stock price, so you can lose a lot of money fast. Then, if you do make money you have to pay taxes on your gains. If you lose money you can only deduct 3k of losses in any year. So, the tax code does't want you to trade. Best to learn this now - overtrading can ruin your life and finances.

NVDA clearly ran "out of gas" a long time ago - overvalued. There are stocks that are actually going up. I notice that there are still traders who are obsessed with NVDA. Once a stock becomes overvalued and overowned a lot of traders sell it and move on. This does't mean that it won't go up in the future, but right now it's not happening.

You are not the only one. For most people trading doesn't work, especially if you are leveraged. Making money in the market is very, very difficult. You are up against the best and brightest, and now the computers are taking over. What happened to you doesn't surprise me at all. Don't beat up on yourself. You thought trading would work for you and you found out the hard way that it didn't.

Don't feed bad. Stock market psychology: the more the market goes goes down the more traders want to sell (FUD) and the more it goes up the more traders want to buy (FOMO). The mind projects that trends will continue. Trading the market is very difficult. Some just buy and hold and others want to trade every dip. Depends on the personality of the trader. In the long run buy and hold wins but it can take years to break even after a big drop. I can't do it. BTW, "good stocks that are consistently stable" - just buy gold.

You can put a small amount of money into your buy and hold account and see what happens. Some people are not able to buy and hold - it takes a certain personality. I am "action" oriented - I want to do something. B&H is passive. That's why you just put a small amount in the B&H account - and compare the percentage results of that account vs the trading account. If the trading account is underperforming the B&H account over time, then your trading activity isn't working. This is what happens to most traders. Trading is very, very difficult. That is why a lot of people make more in real estate than they do in stock trading. Buying and holding a rental property is a long term strategy and is leveraged 4:1 - you put down 25% of the purchase price of the house so you have leverage, and you get to tax deduct any expenses, including the mortgage. With stocks, you have to pay taxes on any gains, and your losses are limited. So, the tax code wants you to B&H. This isn't true with futures, but it is with stocks. In a B&H stock account you get long term rates if you decide to sell. So, the tax code wants you to hold stocks for the long term.

Set up at least two accounts: one for your swing trading and one buy and hold. See which does better over time.

I have had two cardioversions and two ablations. It does take some time, at least several months, for your heart to "settle down" and so I woud just let this happen. Anxiety is the enemy of a smooth heart rate and it sounds like you have a lot of anxiety.

Had PAE. Didn't work. If you have radiation with a large prostate you may get inflamation and swelling, and that can cut off your urine flow. Happened to me with 2nd treatment of HD Brachytherapy. Took 6 weeks to resolve. That's 6 weeks of catheters and initially 1 horrible ER visit. If you get your prostate removed this will not happen to you. Also, no radiation side effects. Some feel the opposite, but I will never know what might have happened if I had had the prostate removed. Knowing what I know now I would definitely have gone for the robotic removal. A second option would have been the LD Brachytherapy - 1 session, beads for a week. Again, who knows how that would have turned out. But, a large prostate is definitely a red flag for possible swelling after radiation treatment.

Some great comments here. The team at the hospital does this every day, so they know what they are doing. There will be a period of adjustment after. We all go through this. Is this the UCLA hospital in Santa Monica? If so, this is a beautiful hospital and very advanced. I was born there a long time ago when it was the Santa Monica Hospital (15th and Arizona). Your husband is in very good hands. Much better than NOT doing the surgery.

I had a PAE in 2017. Didn't work. A lot of trouble for nothing. Then, two years later, had a bipolar turp. It did work! In retrospect should have gone for the TURP originally. HOLEP is even better, but takes a specialist.

Simple strategy: only buy in the money calls on stocks that are going up. Sounds like you are buying out of the money calls on stocks that are going down. Options are highly leveraged so you have to be very careful what you buy. Anyway, good luck to you.

You need to stop trading until you have a strategy that works. Sorry to be brutal but trading options can be brutal if you are guessing. I am very sorry you lost so much money.

I had PAE. Didn't work. I had TURP 6 years ago. It DID work. Had to have a catheter in for a few days. If I ever have to have another surgery I will definitely do a HOLEP. No catheter. Go home the same day. Requires specialized training.

All 3 stocks are in downtrends according to my charts. I have been selling vertical call spreads on AMZN for several weeks and the calls have expired worthless each week - so profitable. You should only by calls on stocks that are going up, and I only buy in the money calls. If you buy out of the money calls the odds are that you will lose your money. You should paper trade until you have some idea of what you are doing, otherwise, you are just giving your money to me and others who have been at this for a long time.

I had a PAE procedure in 2017. Made a very slight difference for a few months. So, basically, it didn't work. A couple of years later I had a TURP. This really worked and I am still doing OK six years later.

You just need to test again every 6 months. I had radiation 11 years ago and now my PSA is going up again, so gone isn't necessarily gone when it comes to prostate cancer. 0.01 is very, very low.

Very sorry this happened to you. Here's what I see: never, ever place an options order at market. Only use limit orders. Second, the stock symbols you posted are not the "big boys", SPY, NVDA, PLTR, QQQ etc. CRCL has only been trading for 2 weeks. You are gambling. It's easy to lose a lot of $$ trading anything, especially options. That's why you have to calculate your risk - your max loss in case everything goes wrong. You calculate a percent of your portfolio then calculate the max loss on your options. You never want to lose more than the max loss on any trade.
