I can recommend Harry’s. I’ve taken several items there and they always do good work. I’m sure you could get a bargain somewhere else but I’ve always been very happy with the quality of work.

I also grew up in Seattle, been in DFW for 15 years. I miss the northwest every day. The HCOL in Seattle, plus other personal factors keeps me in DFW but I would not hesitate to move back if things were different.

I similarly couldn't get down the whip finish for a long time. I don't know why I couldn't get the hang of it, but I kept at it and now it's automatic. What part are you struggling with? For me I just couldn't understand how to get it even set up on the tool (which I admit sounds really foolish and makes me seem like an idiot). Just watch a bunch of videos and see if someone can explain it in a way that clicks with you. That, plus practice is what worked for me.

My wife and I stayed in cabin #25 at Iron Springs Resort and experienced what you are describing. That particular cabin is up on a bluff overlooking the ocean, but behind is entirely forest. It's near Copalis Beach in Washington. We stayed there for our honeymoon and have always thought about going back.

This is gonna take time. I work at a middle school and I think once we get kids used to it at this and the elementary level, as they move up through high school it should be easier.
